Pros
With Toddle, you always have a partner to work with you and support more than the implementation- they support best practices in teaching and learning. When I need a person, there is always one there....and it's usually the same one all along.

“The most innovative LMS available

Our teachers embarked on a journey to re-envision student assessment by moving from grades to competency-based learning in order to help students take responsibility for their own learning outcomes. The Toddle system is the tool that has made this transformation possible with its ability to help teachers collaborate on the process of curricular planning and assessments, its flexibility in the way students document their learning, and the rich reporting and communication tools that keep students and parents informed at all times. The company is constantly innovating by adding valuable new features that save teachers time and the technical support has been truly outstanding!

“Toddle Will Transform Your Teacher Workflow!
Pros
We switched from Schoology to Toddle two years ago and while any technology adoption can be difficult, the switch to Toddle had a much faster adoption rate than I have experienced with other platforms. The user interface is updated and intuitive for teachers and as an IB school district, we LOVE the integration of IB specific planners. I know the same is true for non IB schools. That brings me to another perk of Toddle which is the integration of unit design and unit storage. This makes curriculum alignment easy, actionable, transparent and connected to the day to day classroom lessons in a way that I have not seen with other LMS platforms. Toddle upgraded their platform last year to incorporate AI tutors and this has been a wonderfully safe entry point for teachers and students. We haven't purchased any other AI tools to date becuase of the AI integration in Toddle. Finally, Toddle PD and the 1:1 support you receive from Toddle is truly unsurpassed. Again, I have never worked with a company that is so responsive and so easy to access if there are any questions or support needs. We love Toddle!
Cons
Some teachers think that it takes more "clicks" to get somewhere in Toddle. I always tell them that more clicks just means there are more things you can do with the platform vs. our previous LMS and more ways to do it in Toddle. We have struggled a bit with PowerSchool integration but Toddle has worked hand in hand with us on this and it's much easier to sync now.

Cons
- Reporting dashboards and analytics could be more robust for district- or school-wide oversight. - Some workflows between PYP, MYP, and DP could be more consistently integrated for schools using the full IB continuum. - Initial setup and onboarding can be time-intensive for large teams. Needs better implementation plans for large districts. - Integration of non-IB classes in US middle and high schools can be inconsistent, making it challenging to use Toddle as a single LMS for all courses. - Single point of contact with an assigned Toddle Buddy may lead to issues that go unresolved or delayed.
