Diverse and connected features

Pros

Veracross gives our families one central hub where they can handle everything from checking academic records, managing tuition payments, making donations online to viewing the school calendar. It's convenient having all these features integrated together instead of juggling multiple systems.

Cons

It was hard to deal with at the start and we had to customize everything ourselves to fit our specific needs. When we reached out for help, support would explain how to do things rather than just handling it for us. While I appreciate that approach in hindsight since we really understand the system now, the initial setup process was definitely frustrating and time consuming.

The ultimate SIS for your school!

Pros

I really like its powerful features that help manage our entire school operation. The registrar, business and development modules integrate well with each other. The payment plan system in the business module is outstanding. I've used other platforms in previous roles but this one surpasses them all. Customer support really stands out too and they respond quickly to cases and will even schedule Zoom calls when you need extra assistance. There's also an enhancement log where you can suggest features for future updates which shows they listen to user feedback.

Cons

The embedding feature for donor forms on websites isn't available right now which is disappointing since that's something I really needed for our site.

Handles everything in one place

Pros

The versatility is impressive. Handles tuition management, HR development and more all in one place. Love it!

Cons

I have to wait for items to update overnight. The development portal feels pretty limited too as it doesn't handle donation processing very well.

Ability to create Queries is so cool

Pros

I can create any type of query I need and when there's an urgent problem, the response time is really quick.

Cons

Phone support isn't available right away and there are certain fields that you just can't edit yourself. You have to wait for engineering to sort them out. The email sending process takes way too long and there's no option for automatic emails which is frustrating. Managing different divisions and their security levels is more complicated than it should be.

Powerful query functions though its a bit complex

Pros

Its easily accessible and I appreciate how powerful the query functions are.

Cons

The process can feel unnecessarily complex with too many steps, and not having a phone number for support is really annoying when you need quick help.

Full Marks for the Support Staff

Pros

I've found this to be the most detailed system we've tried after using several different SIS platforms. Every question I have gets answered quickly and accurately which really makes a difference in my daily workflow.

Cons

There are some specific processes at our school that this platform hasn't developed solutions for yet.

Excellent Software with one little downside

Pros

Working with this platform daily has been helpful for managing student enrollment and class scheduling. The system makes it really easy to add or remove students from courses and figure out when different classes are available. What really stands out is the customer support team. They're knowledgeable and always solve our issues when contacted.

Cons

Tracking graduation requirements is nearly impossible with all the different ins and outs we have to deal with. Getting students to actually schedule there classes is confusing and just doesn't work well.
