“adaptable MES with a learning curve”
Pros
One of the best things about IcSoft is how adaptable and versatile it is. It combines ERP integration with a highly configurable MES in a way that works well across different types of manufacturing environments. The real time visibility, customization options and solid track record make it a strong choice for improving and optimizing manufacturing operations.
Cons
Getting fully comfortable with IcSoft and using everything it offers can take quite a bit of time and effort especially if users want to make the most of the system's full capabilities.

“Reliable manufacturing control”

It has been a big help in keeping our manufacturing processes organized and under control. The software runs very reliably and has been stable for us overall.

It would be better if it included a few more web-based reporting options.

“feature rich MES with paperless gains”
Pros
The platform offers a very broad set of features. The paperless factory capability is a valuable addition and really helps address a major pain point for users.
Cons
User level security still has room for improvement. It would also be helpful to add more web-based reporting features.

“Fast Rollout”
Pros
Setting the software up was quick and the installation process was handled really well. Their team showed strong support, took ownership and worked with a sense of camaraderie that made the whole experience better. The workflows are very well organized so users can learn the system quickly and start processing transactions without much difficulty. It also fits complex manufacturing environments very well especially for products with multi-level BOMs and multiple process steps. On top of that the MIS reports can be customized to suit different levels of the executive team which is very useful.
Cons
The GUI could use an update to feel more modern especially within the MIS area. It would also be helpful to have internal communication threads added for department-level and cross-department communication.

“Easy to use”
Pros
Getting started with IcSoft MES is pretty easy and the system feels user friendly in day to day use. With just a one-time training on IC Soft, almost anyone can begin using it without much difficulty.
Cons
It is meeting our current requirements overall. Whenever we need anything additional or want some improvement, we communicate it to our supplier so they can work on the required changes.

“flexible reporting”
Pros
Using this program is quite effortless and it adapts well when requirements change. The data storage is accessible in line with the report structures we need and it also allows manual reports whenever required.
Cons
Response time when recalling data from certain modules feels a bit slower than expected. Some module windows can be annoying to work with, possibly due to self-done SCPL. I've also run into issues with SO order closure where old POs stay unchanged and the export invoice outstanding report occasionally shows incorrect values.

“strong inventory and QC features”
Pros
Inventory management, the production process and QC in IcSoft are all very good and work quite well.
Cons
The planning module, HRM and standard reports still need improvement. Sales and Purchase should have a simpler way to enter tax details and HSN numbers and rectified exe files should be checked 100% before being uploaded.

“IcSoft MES review”
Pros
One of the better parts of this is the ability to build custom reports and create Bizsoft forms along with additional fields for almost any screen. It also does a good job of capturing production data parameters and maintaining traceability. Another strong point is the flexibility it offers when configuring customized business processes to match specific operational needs.
Cons
HR module feels quite rigid and does not offer enough flexibility. Creating TCD separately for each HSN is time-consuming and the system still cannot capture complete GST data traceability properly. The Maintenance module also has some bugs and performance tends to drop in areas that handle large volumes of data.

Pros
Using IC Soft has been pretty comfortable because the system is user friendly and simple to operate. On top of that the team behind it is very supportive and quick to respond. Whenever any issue comes up, they handle it right away.

“helpful support but needs stronger controls”
Pros
The platform is user friendly and the support team has been very helpful. It can also be customized to fit the specific needs of each organization which adds a lot of value.
Cons
A few features seem to be released before they are fully tested which can be frustrating. It would also help if more features were added to support stronger internal controls.

“budget friendly for small startups”
Pros
The ability to get customized reports adds useful flexibility. It's a decent option for small startup companies that need something affordable and within budget.
Cons
Stability has been a concern since an issue that gets fixed once can show up again later. It offers good customization and is budget friendly for startups but recurring stability issues and a narrower feature set compared to larger ERPs makes its long term reliability questionable.
