“disappointing
Pros
Box check for the client. This organization provides no benefit otherwise.
Cons
Completely useless and a waste of money for all contractors. AI should replace organizations like this as soon as possible.

“Poor Support
Pros
None
Cons
They charge us 18k per year to be part of their program because we have customers who use their service. They do absolutely nothing for us for that 18K. We are an equipment rental company, not a contractor. They make unrealistic demands and blame it on our customers. We deal with 3 other companies that offer the same type service ISN offers, but those companies charge us less than a third od the ISN cost, and they give us tremendous support. I know other safety professionals who have made the ISN mistake and walked away from it due to the way they were treated. same thing as ISN and

“Typical Review
Pros
Honestly, there is absolutely nothing I can find that is worth mentioning about it.
Cons
They fail to understand the importance of vendors complying with requirements and how it impacts a company's ability to work with clients. Compliance expectations keep changing, and they offer little assistance. Overall, it's a frustrating experience.

“Horrible Customer Service
Pros
I pretty much dislike everything about this software. It simply serves as a means to shift costs onto small contractors.
Cons
Once they issue an invoice, they bombard me with constant emails to pay it. However, after that, there's complete radio silence. They provide no instructions or guidance whatsoever. Their chat feature is a useless, chatbot that doesn't answer questions and only allows you to select from pre-set options. To seek help, I had to fill out a form before they even provided a support number to call. Then, I had to navigate an automated menu and tolerate being on hold to speak to a live representative (pressing "0" repeatedly until I got through).

“A necessary evil
Pros
I'm sorry to say, but there is nothing positive to mention. It requires too much time to answer all the questions and constantly check for compliance.
Cons
It's not as good as Avetta, which we're also obligatory to use through another contractor.

“Incompetent Insurance Reviews
Pros
None of the features have a significant impact. We are bound to use the software for compliance purposes to qualify for certain contractor assignments.
Cons
Dealing with the insurance review department is a hassle. As contractors, we are forced to remain compliant to work for our client.

“Tired of asking for help
Pros
When I initially started using this product, I was amazed with the exceptional customer support and their commitment to resolving issues.
Cons
Customer support expects the contractor to do the majority of the work, despite already paying a substantial amount for a mandatory service. It's frustrating to struggle to find someone knowledgeable who understands how the program works for both the contractor and the client.

Pros
To be honest, I've been using this software for years and have never liked the concept since day one. There is absolutely nothing about ISN that I find appealing.

Every aspect is a con. The entire process is a con job.

“Terrible and time consuming, avoid inflicting the pain and cost of this product on anyone
Pros
The software does establish connections with numerous companies.
Cons
This software epitomizes "Scope Creep." It initially focused on safety but has now grown into a complex and unwieldy system of permissions, trainings and connections.

“A Great Program To Use
Pros
The integration process with this application was remarkably simple, the simplest we've ever encountered. It serves as a fantastic compliance tracker that our customers and third-party organizations find extremely user-friendly.
Cons
Unfortunately, I can't provide a response because I can't log in. I've made numerous calls to ISN, but I've never received any assistance. If I could rate it zero stars, I definitely would.

“Excellent service
Pros
ISN is excellent for ensuring that we and our subcontractors meet our customers requirements before starting work. The user interface is superb for training workers and administrators. The best part about ISN is their outstanding customer support.
Cons
Depending on the customer, regular logins are necessary to ensure compliance (which is understandable since it's compliance-based).

“Wasted my time and money
Pros
Personally, I found nothing of value in this ISN. I never had the chance to use it because they refused to disclose the required submissions until I paid their exorbitant "set up" fee. Once I saw the wide requirements, I decided to work with my Client to seek an exemption. After successfully obtaining the exemption, I attempted to obtain a refund. However, they directed me to the fine print and denied any refunds. They didn't provide any assistance other than sending me the General Questionnaire. I chose not to respond, yet they still refused to offer a partial refund.
Cons
ISN requires a massive amount of information for their "review," which seems to be a checkbox exercise. After paying and realizing the level of the submission requirements, I obtained an exemption with my Client's help. When I requested a refund, they pointed to their no-refund policy buried in the fine print of their terms. Keep in mind, they didn't disclose the submission requirements until after I paid. ISN wanted $4,500 from me, but I only earn $35,000 annually from the Client requiring their review. They did nothing and refused to refund any portion of my payment. I guess I'm one of their best customers since I gave them my money, and all they did was cash the check. Their customer service is terrible, preferring phone calls over emails. On their website, they list numerous phone numbers worldwide, but most of them don't work, and the few that do redirect you to their website. Seriously, an office in Slovakia? Give me a break.

“Not for small businesses
Pros
I must admit, there is nothing about it that I find user-friendly. Many of the user-supplied uploads seem unnecessarily repetitive.
Cons
The company lacks diversity and applies selective requirements between large corporations and small businesses. They have a fixed standard of at least 50% of written policies, but there's no option to opt out of specific requirements. They demand highly specific uploads without outlining the specifics beforehand. Their solution to problems is to keep customers on the phone and guide them through the process instead of providing examples for a streamlined experience.

“Customer service for contractors is sorely lacking
Pros
Contractor management databases often struggle with user interface and functionality. In terms of UI, ISN is superior to PEC/Veriforce, but it falls short in important areas that would make this database valuable for contractors.
Cons
The system doesn't allow for sharing common data points across hiring clients, resulting in repetitive data entry for each connection. The database's data reporting is terrible, lacking the ability to create custom reports. The standard reports they offer are rarely helpful in managing training expirations or open items which needs constant navigation between screens. It's evident that few customers use the tracking tools, and ISN has little knowledge of maximizing their own database and reports. Worst of all is the service. Hiring clients receive special treatment, while contractors are forced to subscribe to ISN. Instead of striving to win contractors as customers, they threaten to notify your clients if you don't renew annually. The insurance review team frequently makes mistakes, wasting a lot of time, and many modules are buggy or rely on flash player, which is nearly banned on most browsers. When you identify a bug, they only address it if a hiring client requests it. Contractors are treated as prisoners or second-rate citizens, despite paying them. If I had a dollar for every time I was told, "we know it's broken, but the hiring client set it up that way," I could retire.

“Very poor service and unable to trouble shoot
Pros
Unfortunately, I cannot express any satisfaction with it because I am unable to access the site even after entering my login credentials. Upon clicking enter, a notice appears stating that ISNetworld is experiencing technical difficulties, and they claim to be aware of the issue and working on it. However, it seems they have no idea what's happening. Every time I contact them, I have to explain the issue all over again.
Cons
I've been unable to log in, and despite making multiple calls to ISN, I still haven't received any assistance. If I had the option, I would give them a zero-star review.
