“Needs to be rewitten
Pros
The overall concept and how well I can now handle the information is something I love about MISys. It definitely does the job and is the best software for manufacturing.
Cons
Even with our new server hardware and dedicated SQL database server, the software is too much slow when generating reports. It feels like a band-aid solution patched over the years. I suspect it's still coded for 32-bit instead of 64-bit architecture. Additionally, there are numerous bugs that end users consistently complain about, especially when it comes to printing.

“Powerful but cumbersome manufacturing software
Pros
I really like its ability to provide quick inventory checking and thorough history analysis. Tracking purchase history and stock movements is also hassle free. I always have access to technical help when I need it.
Cons
I find this software to be slow and cryptic at times. Despite investing significant time in learning it, implementing materials requirements planning has remained a challenge even after several years. The input for items and assemblies is extremely inflexible, resulting in hours spent resolving minor stock issues. Generating reports for accounting purposes (valuation, journal entry, etc.) and inventory planning is a difficult process.

“Over all a good experience. We have used it for Quick Books Integration for our manufacturing
Pros
The QuickBooks integration is essential for our company as we operate as both a manufacturer and a seller. It's great to be able to manage everything directly through QuickBooks, and this feature has been invaluable for our team!
Cons
Although our integration with QuickBooks functions, it has been a bad experience, and it seems that the two systems don't always sync correctly. Some of the issues may be related to versioning conflicts with our QuickBooks instance, but MISys couldn't provide direct insight into the trouble we encountered. Overall, it's a useful tool, but it could benefit from being more intuitive. Many tasks require a lot of training to use properly.

“Using Misys is simple for a first time user as myself
Pros
My company started using MiSys a few years ago, and within a few weeks, everything fell into place. It has made inventory management incredibly simple. With just a few clicks, I can easily find lots of details about the parts we sell.
Cons
I'm satisfied with it so far.

“MISys BOM is easy to use
Pros
One of the features I love in MISys is the user-friendly Build of Material (BOM) functionality. It quickly lists all the parts in an assembly, making it easy to calculate material costs.
Cons
No comment.

“Great software, great people and great support.
Pros
We are a small manufacturing company, and our motto is to be "lean and mean." We strive to accomplish more with fewer people, which gives us a significant advantage. Keeping our employees involved in the business is essential, and MISys has played a big role in that. It has greatly improved the accuracy of our inventory counts for parts, finished products, and service parts. While we appreciate QuickBooks, it didn't work well for inventory management. With MISys, our inventory is always accurate. Additionally, MISys has been a tremendous help with our work orders. It allows us to track projects from start to finish, ensuring we know what is being built, what inventory is being used, and when the project will be completed. We have complete visibility into our ongoing projects thanks to MISys.
Cons
In my opinion, the MISys software operates like a well-oiled machine, just like the company and its people. I genuinely like everything about it, and I haven't encountered any issues.
