Pros

The overall concept and how well I can now handle the information is something I love about MISys. It definitely does the job and is the best software for manufacturing.

Cons

Even with our new server hardware and dedicated SQL database server, the software is too much slow when generating reports. It feels like a band-aid solution patched over the years. I suspect it's still coded for 32-bit instead of 64-bit architecture. Additionally, there are numerous bugs that end users consistently complain about, especially when it comes to printing.

Pros

I really like its ability to provide quick inventory checking and thorough history analysis. Tracking purchase history and stock movements is also hassle free. I always have access to technical help when I need it.

Cons

I find this software to be slow and cryptic at times. Despite investing significant time in learning it, implementing materials requirements planning has remained a challenge even after several years. The input for items and assemblies is extremely inflexible, resulting in hours spent resolving minor stock issues. Generating reports for accounting purposes (valuation, journal entry, etc.) and inventory planning is a difficult process.

Pros

The QuickBooks integration is essential for our company as we operate as both a manufacturer and a seller. It's great to be able to manage everything directly through QuickBooks, and this feature has been invaluable for our team!

Cons

Although our integration with QuickBooks functions, it has been a bad experience, and it seems that the two systems don't always sync correctly. Some of the issues may be related to versioning conflicts with our QuickBooks instance, but MISys couldn't provide direct insight into the trouble we encountered. Overall, it's a useful tool, but it could benefit from being more intuitive. Many tasks require a lot of training to use properly.
