Paperless Parts Review

Pros

Paperless Parts provides us with an impressively professional outward-facing quoting system. It has a polished and user-friendly interface. Interestingly, we've received unsolicited positive feedback from our customers about our quoting system.

Cons

Paperless Parts doesn't link transactions with our QuickBooks software, but they are working on implementing that feature.

Good software

Pros

The design of the software is flawless. It has a sleek appearance and is relatively user-friendly from the customer's perspective.

Cons

There is a significant amount of clicking involved. It takes an average of about 10 mouse clicks to generate a single part in a quote. This can be time-consuming and exhausting at times.

The ease of use and rapid adoption rate, both internally and with customers, along with the monthly improvements and new features, contribute to the exceptional value it brings.

Cons

The early releases were more limited in scope, but the Paperless team has been extremely supportive in incorporating our feedback into the subsequent releases.

Pros

Paperless Parts' auto quoting system is an incredibly powerful tool. We can customize, analyze and quote all of our processes (additive, CNC, Cast Urethane, Assembly, Toolmaking, Injection Molding) within a centralized cloud-based system. My company serves customers in the Aerospace, Defense, Medical Device and Commercial markets. The fact that Paperless Parts offers secure file transfer services and is ITAR compliant allows us to cater to all our customers equally, ensuring consistency in our quoting process across all markets. The option to instantly upload files in various formats and convert them into quotes has revolutionized how we conduct our day-to-day business. We now win jobs that we would have typically lost due to a lengthy and manual quoting process. From a sales perspective, Paperless Parts simplifies tracking and following up with customers. Developing an effective follow-up process has become effortless, leading to increased business wins. The analytics feature is excellent for forecasting and identifying trends in all markets, processes, and internally as well. If your company is involved in manufacturing and you're not using Paperless Parts, you should definitely consider it!

Cons

My number one complaint about Paperless Parts is that it wasn't available earlier! Their services have saved my company significant time and money!
