“Great software!
Pros
I find the wide range of features of this software easy for stakeholders to understand and like its value.
Cons
Simio software lacks a suitable method to represent statistics by the hour of the day, which is crucial for a hospital operating 24/7.

“User friendly and great support
Pros
Learning Simio was not at all difficult, and it offers remarkable flexibility and power to model different scenarios. Moreover, the company has been a pleasure to work with and their knowledgeable, friendly and accessible staff reflects their excellent company culture.
Cons
In larger models, the software can run a bit slow, although this may be primarily due to hardware limitations or inefficiencies in my modeling approach.

“Simio for Manufacturing
Pros
I really enjoyed the intuitive drag and drop functionality right out of the box, which allows new users to quickly configure models. Additionally, the ability to create custom logic using the same drag and drop feature is fantastic for modeling unique processes in a production environment.
Cons
For our complex model, we relied on a third party for support and custom programming. However, making changes to the model without involving the third party became quite challenging.
