“Simulation using Simio
Pros
I can start building a simple model right away and visualize its operation from entity arrivals to the exit point. I can make modifications on the go and add more complex modes of operation. I love being able to see entity movement and the structure layout of the simio object library. Dragging and dropping objects and modeling as I progress is pretty easy too.
Cons
One issue I encountered with Simio, or perhaps I haven't figured out how to implement it, is the absence of a real-time scanning feature to check if a traveling path is occupied. It would be beneficial to have the ability to pause incoming entities from transferring to the path until it becomes free.

“Simio let you focus on value-add work
Pros
Thanks to its unique 'visual programming' technology resembling a process chart, I have more time to focus on valuable work in my simulation projects. You won't find the same level of user-friendliness in competing products.
Cons
The 3D effect still lacks the level of sophistication I was hoping for. It falls short when it comes to highly detailed motion modeling.

“For industry
Pros
Simio is very easy to use which makes it perfect for simulations. Even the free version provides clear instructions and tools that improve usability. The customer care is also commendable.
Cons
The paid version is quite expensive, and unfortunately, there is no version available for Mac. Additionally, the software tends to slow down when handling complex simulations. Apart from these aspects, I haven't come across any other disadvantages.

“Useful tool for simulation
Pros
This software is completely user-friendly. It is very easy to learn and the abundance of exercises helps a lot in the learning process.
Cons
I noticed that the software runs a bit sluggish when working with large simulation models. Furthermore, there is a scarcity of tutorials available online.

“Simio review
Pros
I can quickly build a simple model that proves to be quite worthy for our organization. If needed, the software has the power to scale up to much more complex models.
Cons
Simio heavily relies on mouse input, and I've noticed some basic features are missing, which would greatly enhance the professional appearance of the models.

“Makes Simulation fun and easy
Pros
I am very happy with Simio. It's a quite powerful tool, and I understand why the premium paid version comes with a hefty price tag. However, the best part is that there is a free version available, which helps familiarize oneself with the world of simulation. Simio provides everything I need to perform complex simulations without having to write hundreds of lines of code and deal with challenging debugging. I have used Simio for various distribution simulations like uniform, exponential and triangular, and I no longer have to worry about generating random numbers. Simio offers a wide range of tools, including the reliability function, which allows me to define the likelihood of machine failures and how they impact throughput and productivity due to varying repair times. The most exciting aspect of Simio is the ability to witness live simulations of my system in real-time. I can create a simulation of an M/M/1 queuing system to replicate an ice-cream store and observe how customer arrival and service times affect the business. Another fun feature of Simio is the option to assign model entities with actual people and replace boxes with images, enhancing the presentation aspect and engaging the team. For simulation enthusiasts like me, this software provides everything necessary to validate, verify architecture, and answer questions that cannot be solved analytically.
Cons
Learning this software requires a significant amount of effort, and there aren't many readily available online resources. Most of the resources are integrated into Simio itself, so relying on the provided videos and reading the help section is the way to go. The free version of the software has limitations when it comes to simulating large-scale systems, and that's when purchasing the paid version becomes necessary. Navigating the software can be daunting, as there are numerous aspects one needs to understand in order to create their system effectively.

“Architecture combined with technology made more amazing!
Pros
Simio offers a modern technology that transforms architectural plans into dynamic 3D drafts. It shares a similar concept and design with Microsoft Office software which makes it user friendly and easy to navigate. What sets Simio apart from other drafting software is its ability to start with pre made templates or even use actual images as a starting point.
Cons
While keyboard shortcuts would be highly beneficial, Simio offers very limited options in this regard. However, for frequently used tools like switching from 2D to 3D, there are keyboard shortcuts available, which can greatly assist users.

“Very Detailed Simulation Software
Pros
I have to commend Simio for their exceptional attention to detail, as their product provides a level of granularity that surpasses other programs in terms of controls and outputs.
Cons
Simio is a highly complex software that requires comprehensive training to master. It's not something you can simply pick up and teach yourself.

“Simio is versatile and intuitive!
Pros
The software's versatility in handling complex scenarios is truly impressive. It seems like there is a feature for every possible requirement!
Cons
I'm not particularly fond of the way the statistics are presented. It would be great if there was an option to export data results directly to an Excel sheet.

“Dalton's Simio Review
Pros
I really like the option to quickly model simple systems while also having the flexibility to introduce any level of complexity when needed.
Cons
One of my least favorite aspects is the inability to view logs across multiple simulations to track information like buffer queues over time.
