The database impresses me with its comprehensiveness and power. I also love the ability that I can customize it to some extent, which is particularly useful for our company's unique specification nomenclature. The interface is fairly user friendly as well.

Cons

As an Administrator, I would prefer to have more flexibility in creating dialogs, fields and pages. The limitations imposed by the Salesforce platform can be annoying at times. The search function can also be challenging, as it's unclear where it draws previous history from in certain instances.

During our onboarding stage, the Specright Team has been very supportive. They genuinely listen to our needs and provide valuable advice and solutions to help us tailor our program exactly as required, and even more! Nick, Jon, Adam and Ken have made the experience enjoyable. Creating, tracking and maintaining specifications can be tiresome and time-consuming, but Specright ensures it becomes a quick and more accurate experience for all of us. It's now 2023, and Specright has delivered on its promises. The intended purpose has expanded beyond the original scope and encompasses several departments and uses. Exploring the new capabilities and understanding how they can benefit our company has been both productive and enjoyable. What I love the most is the ability to customize the system without needing to be an IT expert. The support staff at Specright are approachable and genuinely strive to cater to our unique needs.

Cons

The initial transfer and architecture process can be a bit stressful. Specright offers so much that it is difficult to determine where to start. I anticipate questions like, "Why did your department receive this and not ours?" The only thing I wish were different is having more available tutorials, although the existing ones have been helpful.

“Innovative approach to manage spec data and supply chain

Pros

Specright offers me customizable solutions to resolve my existing spec data issues and streamline my current processes in a proper manner. I also like that it functions as a relational database which allows me to sort, connect and visualize my spec data and supplier data according to my preferences. It is like having a Lego store that organizes the pieces by colors, sizes, and shapes, making it easier for me to find the right ones and construct my desired reports and dashboards.

Cons

I find it both a limitation and a strength that Specright's platform is built on the Salesforce cloud. Although there are limits to customizing the architecture for my company's data, Specright nicely uses readily-available Salesforce modules to create the desired architecture. Additionally, Specright collaborates with various third-party solution providers to integrate different services into a comprehensive system solution for their customers.

Pros

The most remarkable aspect of Specright is that I now rely solely on it as our source of truth at COOLA. Gone are the days when we had to juggle multiple shared Excel documents and struggle to track revisions. With Specright in place we have full control over our data and can easily generate reports whenever needed.

Cons

The Salesforce user authenticator can be a bit boring as it requires frequent logins and automatically signing out after periods of inactivity. Aside from that, I find the platform itself to be wonderful!

I find the program easy to use. Although I have had several demos for different modules, our focus is currently on one. The platform is highly versatile and offers numerous use cases. My recommendation would be to sit down with the team and learn about specific modules in detail.

Cons

Currently, I have no concerns. It is my first time launching a platform like this for my company, so there has been a learning curve. However, SpecRight team has been very helpful throughout the process.

Specright's reporting and customization capabilities have made it easy for our team to locate and manage records that align with our requirements.

The only issue I have encountered with the system is its limited search ability as it is restricted to 2000 records. However, I have reporting features that fulfill our needs.

I can't think of many cons regarding the software. There are constant improvements being made to improve its performance.

I am impressed by the software ability to capture all items in our system and navigate through the BOMs. Inventory management has been a weak point in many of the companies I have previously worked for.

The integration process can be lengthy and challenging for the team. We faced some pushback from our small team during the implementation process. Apart from that, it has been fairly smooth sailing in terms of learning.
