“Fast-track training for beginners
Pros
I attended a two-day training session at the Workerbase office in Munich to learn their SRM platform. Getting my account set up and gaining access was a speedy process, taking under an hour. My group had nine people, all completely new to SRM and we were able to get moving quickly. We had our first practical example running after just a few hours. Though it was not immediately obvious how everything worked but once the instructor demonstrated it, everything made sense. The course is definitely designed for non-programmers which was perfect for us. With a bit of guidance, we grasped the fundamentals well. Just a week later, a few of us began creating real-use scenarios for our production teams, sometimes getting tips from more advanced users. Tasks like pulling data from SQL servers required some extra help but it was manageable overall too. I also noticed the platform uses these software bricks basically building blocks you link together to create things like instructions, data entry forms or database queries. Plus not having to write any code is a massive advantage for people like me. The step by step training structure was very effective, letting us try things out as we learned. My initial challenge was figuring out where the platform would actually be beneficial but our trainer, Lorenzo was fantastic as he was extremely knowledgeable and happy to answer every question while giving us room to experiment, which made the whole experience more interactive and enjoyable. The training absolutely delivered what we wanted. Our goal was to learn how to use SRM to enhance our workflows and we were building use cases right after the course. We have already set up things like coordinating milk runs, sending error alerts to the floor and monitoring tool counters. The system also acts as a great bridge between different programs. For now we are using it for tracking magazine supplies and automatically starting transport orders. Plus for our team SRM makes it much simpler to pull data from various sources and put it to practical use. I do not have specific figures but the API skills we learned are saving us time and probably a lot of money compared to hiring outside developers. Also the tool monitoring feature is great for planning because it gives us an early heads-up before tools get worn out. All things considered, I'd absolutely suggest taking this training. I would rate it a perfect 10. It genuinely gets you started on the platform, even with zero coding knowledge. The instructors were true experts and very approachable. After the sessions I even had a great conversation with Lorenzo about the companys history, which was really interesting. The office had a calm, friendly atmosphere that made learning easier. I have been using SRM for about two weeks now and I am excited to develop more projects with it.
Cons
For the most part, the platform is easy to use, though getting our initial projects set up had a bit of a learning curve. A few things were not instantly obvious, particularly as a newcomer and having a guide to show how everything connects was a big help. Fortunately the training support was excellent and got us over those early obstacles.

“links systems quickly & smoothly
Pros
Workerbase lets you link different systems together quickly and without hassle and their features combine smoothly through a simple, mobile-friendly interface and because it is a low-code platform, we as customers can get directly involved in shaping and building our own processes. The team is also energetic, driven and brings a lot of knowledge to the table for creating smart, new solutions.
Cons
Just keep in mind that you have to be connected to the internet to use the system as it's cloud-based by design.

“User-friendly system
Pros
My favorite part of SRM Workerbase is its user-friendly design, which helps our team work both quickly and effectively. The platform gives us adaptable project management tools, real-time issue logging and smooth communication, all of which help refine our workflows and significantly boost productivity. I also want to give a special shout-out to the outstanding customer support team. They're always quick to respond and resolve any issues that come up.
Cons
One typical downside with tools like this is getting everyone on board quickly, since staff have to get used to a new system and change their routines. But thats not really a flaw with SRM Workerbase specifically as it is a common hurdle any company faces when rolling out new software.

“Easy setup with minimal IT experience
Pros
You can easily set up and connect a mobile app along with various practical applications. Even with minimal IT experience, we were able to manage and customize a mobile app. Also their support team is highly skilled and always available to assist. There are still plenty of features we have not even started using yet.
Cons
We have not run into any problems or had a bad experience yet.

“quick support!
Pros
We can almost always get ahold of someone. If any issues or questions come up, we can quickly reach a person from Workerbase for help.
Cons
Getting started requires some effort, it takes a little while to learn how to build applications and figure out how to fix them when things go wrong.

“flawless from setup to daily use
Pros
Workerbase is an incredibly flexible and easy to use program that has really improved our daily shop floor communication and sped up our response times. Getting it up and running only took a few weeks, which was very manageable and the whole process was smooth thanks to the close support and collaboration with their team. Fitting it into our current setup of systems was seamless.
Cons
Up to this point I have not found anything to complain about. Every single thing we asked for has been successfully put into place.

“Easy app building with few clicks
Pros
Building apps is so easy. With just a few clicks, we can create a new one or adjust an existing one to fit what we need. The support from the Workerbase team and their whole method for rolling out apps is also highly effective.
Cons
If you want a custom screen layout, you need to build it yourself using HTML. So it would be nice if more of these designs were just part of the standard package down the line.

“Simple to setup
Pros
What's great is how simple the system is to set up and how easy it is to create new applications from scratch.
Cons
My main issue is that the company seems to push pre-made apps which need you to buy more licenses, even though building a custom solution does not add any extra licensing fees.

“effortless custom apps
Pros
One of my favorite thing about Workerbase is how effortlessly we can develop custom applications that are perfectly suited to our specific requirements.
Cons
We have noticed one minor drawback. Such as, as we began relying more heavily on the apps, our production line became dependent on them. So on the rare occasion when the apps fail or the link between Workerbase and SAP goes down, we have to react immediately to keep our production from being disrupted.

“Adaptable for unique research needs
Pros
The platform is adaptable enough to handle the unique needs of our research setting and their team is incredibly talented at building specialized features. Our projects were very niche and needed to connect with a complex existing system which the Workerbase team managed to do right on schedule. Because it is cloud-based, our own IT department barely had to get involved and updates could be rolled out instantly. Their smart watches have allowed us to pioneer new ways for our operators to communicate with each other and interact with our MES. Setting up user roles and permissions was simple too and whenever we needed their help, the team was always there for us. The hardware itself has become a vital tool, cutting down on manual data entry by letting operators use scanners instead.
Cons
In our project, we hit a wall with how much data the screen could show our operators. While the simplified task view works well for regular jobs, our team needs access to more detailed information to handle more complicated procedures.
