Workerbase Features
Digital Work Instructions And Forms
Replace paper with interactive instructions and checklists that guide tasks, capture data, and trigger follow-ups. Standardized procedures reduce errors and give supervisors visibility into execution quality across shifts and lines.
No Code App Editor
A visual editor lets teams build and roll out apps without development cycles. Plants can model local workflows, distribute to devices, and adapt quickly as processes evolve, which shortens time to value for improvement projects.
Machine Connectivity And Protocols
Out-of-the-box connectors support OPC UA, MQTT, and REST to bring machine data into context. Real-time status and alarms route to the right person with escalation rules, reducing downtime and enabling faster root cause action.
Dashboards And Reporting
Role-based dashboards turn submitted forms, machine events, and task updates into operational KPIs. Supervisors monitor throughput and response times, and use insights to fine tune staffing, maintenance, and changeovers.
Skills And Training Management
Digital skills matrices and training assignments help ensure qualified personnel execute specific jobs. Managers track gaps and automate re-certifications, aligning skill coverage with production demands. These Workerbase features support safer, more consistent operations.

“Fast-track training for beginners”
Pros
I attended a two-day training session at the Workerbase office in Munich to learn their SRM platform. Getting my account set up and gaining access was a speedy process, taking under an hour. My group had nine people, all completely new to SRM and we were able to get moving quickly. We had our first practical example running after just a few hours. Though it was not immediately obvious how everything worked but once the instructor demonstrated it, everything made sense. The course is definitely designed for non-programmers which was perfect for us. With a bit of guidance, we grasped the fundamentals well. Just a week later, a few of us began creating real-use scenarios for our production teams, sometimes getting tips from more advanced users. Tasks like pulling data from SQL servers required some extra help but it was manageable overall too. I also noticed the platform uses these software bricks basically building blocks you link together to create things like instructions, data entry forms or database queries. Plus not having to write any code is a massive advantage for people like me. The step by step training structure was very effective, letting us try things out as we learned. My initial challenge was figuring out where the platform would actually be beneficial but our trainer, Lorenzo was fantastic as he was extremely knowledgeable and happy to answer every question while giving us room to experiment, which made the whole experience more interactive and enjoyable. The training absolutely delivered what we wanted. Our goal was to learn how to use SRM to enhance our workflows and we were building use cases right after the course. We have already set up things like coordinating milk runs, sending error alerts to the floor and monitoring tool counters. The system also acts as a great bridge between different programs. For now we are using it for tracking magazine supplies and automatically starting transport orders. Plus for our team SRM makes it much simpler to pull data from various sources and put it to practical use. I do not have specific figures but the API skills we learned are saving us time and probably a lot of money compared to hiring outside developers. Also the tool monitoring feature is great for planning because it gives us an early heads-up before tools get worn out. All things considered, I'd absolutely suggest taking this training. I would rate it a perfect 10. It genuinely gets you started on the platform, even with zero coding knowledge. The instructors were true experts and very approachable. After the sessions I even had a great conversation with Lorenzo about the companys history, which was really interesting. The office had a calm, friendly atmosphere that made learning easier. I have been using SRM for about two weeks now and I am excited to develop more projects with it.
Cons
For the most part, the platform is easy to use, though getting our initial projects set up had a bit of a learning curve. A few things were not instantly obvious, particularly as a newcomer and having a guide to show how everything connects was a big help. Fortunately the training support was excellent and got us over those early obstacles.

“links systems quickly & smoothly”
Pros
Workerbase lets you link different systems together quickly and without hassle and their features combine smoothly through a simple, mobile-friendly interface and because it is a low-code platform, we as customers can get directly involved in shaping and building our own processes. The team is also energetic, driven and brings a lot of knowledge to the table for creating smart, new solutions.
Cons
Just keep in mind that you have to be connected to the internet to use the system as it's cloud-based by design.
