“High-level data optimization solutions

Pros

We had a tough time building a strong opt in email list because we didnt have enough insight into our audience, which made personalization and segmentation a challenge. Luckily, AtData teamed up with our current vendor FreshAddress to offer us an affordable and powerful solution. Their customized second person data solutions really helped us tackle these issues, making it so much easier to connect with the right peoplle.

Cons

Like many others they don't have a "magic bullet" to tackle the recent changes Apple made to the email channel particularly those affecting iOS. However it is tough to place blame here as no one has come up with a solid workaround yet. Still, I believe that the amount of data we can access through its services will help us manage the significant blind spot caused by auto-open.

AtData truly impressed me with their email fraud analytics. They provided us with detailed SMTP server data and insights into how often email addresses are being used. This is also very useful for identifying disposable email addresses which we can now track within our offerings to customers.

Cons

It may be a bit expensive, but as with most things in life, you get what you pay for.

For us, the list cleaning service is simply the best as it identifies more invalid addresses than Everest. It helps us ensure our email list is more accurate and effective

One thing I noticed is that some parts of the website can be a bit unpredictable in terms of functionality.

The interface can be a bit tricky to navigate at first but it becomes easier once you get the hang of it. My main issue was the ongoing minimums, as I only needed to make purchases during campaigns. Fortunately, they have recently updated the system to resolve this.
