“Quick and easy way to update images
Pros
I really enjoy how simple it is to update images and videos by just using a URL. It makes everything feel so much easier to manage and I don't have to spend a lot of time figuring out how to do it.
Cons
I've noticed that syncing the model ID takes time, so there's a small delay in the process.

“Happy with how things turned out
Pros
What impresses me is the structured data, content modeling and fast delivery. The way everything is organized makes it very easy to manage and find what I need.
Cons
The free version is pretty limited and I've noticed it doesn't come with a visual page builder.

“Simple content management tool
Pros
It's incredibly fast and simple to pick up. I was able to get the hang of it in no time and everything is really smooth.
Cons
If you upload a picture larger than the recommended size, it gives an error after the upload. It would be better if it just didn't allow you to upload it from the start. Updating pages regularly, changing deep links and creating new pages from old components is easy though.

“Great balance of functionality and simplicity
Pros
For our team, creating, managing and publishing content was very simple, thanks to how user-friendly the interface is and the management features It provides. The modular content setup let us customize everything for specific project needs. Plus their features helped us create dynamic and engaging digital experiences. The delivery infrastructure was also very reliable, making the experience smooth for both the content creators and end-users. We could easily include all sorts of content like text, images and videos which made our work even better across different channels.
Cons
We faced a big challenge with circular references in the data returned by the Contentful API. It was tough to find a simple fix and it seemed like others had the same problem. Dealing with circular references and implementing workarounds made our development process less efficient which was time-consuming and complicated.

“Easiest CMS I've used
Pros
This tool is really simple to use and set up with easy model implementation, localization support and plenty of integrations.
Cons
One thing I dislike about It is that there's no option to replicate content from one environment to another which would be really helpful.

“Really great CMS
Pros
Contentful's been fantastic for managing various types of content and linking them on our website. It works great for publishing content in multiple languages too. I use it almost every day and it's very easy.
Cons
Setting it up does require a developer to get everything running smoothly.

“Strong performance when required
Pros
It shines when it comes to providing structured content models that developers can query and access through APIs. It's a real power move when managing content for both web and mobile platforms. The headless CMS approach gives so much flexibility in terms of hosting and implementation.
Cons
Since how models are used and displayed depends on the quality of the data modeling and how well the client sets things up, it can get pretty complicated. As a user, I've found it unclear at times on how to configure the content models to get the exact results I want. This isn't really a flaw in Contentful itself but more of a risk because of the way it abstracts things. That's why it's important to really think through how content is modeled and try to keep it as simple as possible.

“My go-to CMS for powering many projects
Pros
It's hands down one of the easiest CMS tools I've used. It's perfect for both developers and content managers. Its API-first approach means it integrates smoothly with a ton of other systems which is great for interoperability. I've used it for various clients and projects and it's always delivered. Being composable, it gives teams the flexibility to build exactly what they need whether it's for a basic website or a more complex, content-heavy app.
Cons
While It is great in many areas, the pricing structure can be an issue as you scale. As your content and API usage increase, the costs can quickly rise which can be a challenge for businesses that need to scale large applications or platforms with lots of content.

“Well-structured CMS for handling complex websites
Pros
As a Localization Manager, I really appreciate how easily I can add different language versions to each Contentful entry.
Cons
It's a problem to have to publish entries for all languages at the same time.
