“Good for GenAI beginners

Pros

It is great for first drafts and generating ideas. Also it provides a great intro to generative AI for writing copy. And some of the templates are proven really useful to me too.

Cons

Tone as it was always off and I found myself doing more editing than actually using what it generated. In the end it was not that helpful and I just ended up using ChatGPT instead.

“Saves me loads of time writing

Pros

I use it to come up with ideas for my blogs and social media posts. And in this area it helped me well.

Cons

CopyAI is a little too high for me though I like to use it more often and regularly.

“Perfect when you hit writer's block

Pros

This AI assistant is a real game changer, eliminating marketing copy in no time. Plus it has templates for everything from website copy to social media posts and even helps me come up with catchy headlines and slogans. Overall it is awesome!

Cons

Honestly the only thing that I did not like is the price as it is way too high mainly for a copywriter like me. But if you need a tool that saves you time and boosts creativity it is definitely worth a try.

“The support team is nowhere to be found

Pros

I could never log in and despite several people trying, there was no support or customer service until recently when they wanted us to renew. A total waste of time and money.

Cons

Well I needed help using the product and customer support was not very helpful or responsive.

“My go-to for editing help

Pros

Copy.ai is my go to tool for all my current copywriting tasks. I use other similar tools but I would rather use Copy.ai any day.

Cons

I was supposed to get a one time membership price since I was one of the original users but for some reason, I am still getting charged annual subscription fees. Despite that I continue using it because of its complexity and benefits.

“A few updates would make it perfect

Pros

It saves us a lot of time when creating short form content like product descriptions, emails, newsletters or other marketing materials. Also it is easy to use and has workflow automation features that make content creation more efficient. And is great for generating creative ideas like short blog posts, outlines, summaries and other content suggestions. Plus it helps keep the brand's tone and style consistent across communications. I recommend it for non complex projects as it keeps content focused which makes it easier to dive deeper into specific topics.

Cons

One thing I dislike is that it limits customization and the AI-generated content sounds too robotic. This really impacts the quality and originality of the content as it lacks that human touch and can affect marketing performance. Also it does not generate long form content well most of the time. In the rare cases it does, the content doesn't match my topic completely and the results are usually poor. I provide specific instructions like word count but often it generates content that includes irrelevant jargon and does not meet my expectations.

“Support was totally missing

Pros

The blog post generation feature is one of the best here as it generates really good, high-quality articles for us.

Cons

Customer support is basically non existent. There is a chat but no one responds. I have sent multiple emails but none were answered. I tried joining their official Facebook group but my invite is still pending. Also there is a huge gap between the pro plan and the next higher plan which is an issue since you cannot buy credits without upgrading your plan.

“Better than Jasper, affordable too

Pros

Not only is it easy to use but the best part is that there are many new features added regularly. Also it is one of the first to adapt to custom prompts and other customizable tools.

Cons

The pricing is not as competitive as Koala or Writesonic considering the features offered. But I definitely notice the difference in quality of the output.

“Won't replace you, but sure helps

I like Copy.ai because it lets me write any kind of content from short social media posts to catchy headers, intros, summaries and blog posts. It responds instantly and creates useful content without missing important details from the prompts. Plus it has templates to customize content for different uses. Signing up and getting started is simple with minimal instructions or learning required.

Cons

Content it offers often needs heavy editing to improve creativity and personalization. Also it is easy to tell it is AI-generated because of the repetitive style in headers, subheadings and obvious phrases. I also think the cost might be too high for small businesses or individual users.

Copy.ai is great because it helps me create any type of content from emails to articles, blog posts and short social media captions. Also it is easy to use and can adjust the tone and style to fit my needs. The team behind Copy.ai is always improving it so you will likely discover something new over time. It can also generate content outlines to help create relevant content.

Cons

The tool is pretty rigid and most people can tell the content is AI-generated. Also it tends to miss the context of questions more than other similar tools I have tried. This means we have to proofread and rewrite a lot to make sure the content is on point. It's a work in progress but I am glad that it is always improving.

“Good not great

Pros

I like the functionality and the way templates are categorized by post or content type. The user experience is really good, the design is fun and the results are usually something I can work with. Though it is not as nuanced as I'd personally write I often take snippets or edit what it produces.

Cons

It feels like there is a barrier to using it like an extra step that actually adds time finishing my tasks instead of saving it. Maybe more experimentation is needed.

Well I like the fact that it is something truly revolutionary.

Honestly I have no negatives worth mentioning about this AI.

With the freestyle tool I can take a statement or thought and turn it into social media posts, blogs and other types of content.

Cons

Copy.ai limits the length of the prompt I can enter and unlike ChatGPT, it restricts the type of input you can provide. It asks you questions and creates content based on the tool I select like a blog or Instagram caption. I always pick freestyle for more flexibility and creativity. It is not easy to set specific content lengths or include certain words.

“Love using it to support my writing

Pros

Copy.ai is one of the only AI tools that has different writing assistants for various niches from blog content to sales and e-commerce copy and more. All this makes it really easy for me to navigate and use it.

Cons

The free version is pretty limited. To fully experience everything I would say get a full version.

“Helpful whenever I need

Pros

I can easily integrate my HubSpot account which makes it perfect and save time when importing and exporting data.

Cons

At times I have to manually edit some of the copies created by Copy.ai because they are not entirely accurate.
