“Invaluable helper!
Pros
It helps me a lot with organizing my daily editorial work. I love having an overview of all the planned topics and the status of the editorial team.
Cons
Saved views can't be overwritten or updated. If I want to make changes, I have to create them from scratch which can be inconvenient.

“Excellent for planning
Pros
It's a practical and flexible planning tool that makes everyday tasks much clearer and reduces a lot of email traffic. The clarity of the tool is definitely the biggest plus for me.
Cons
The connection with our editorial system, Purple, is really poor and it's frustrating.

“Customizable and efficient
Pros
Desk-Net is the gold standard in editorial planning. It's very smooth and easy to use no matter your level of computer knowledge. Even the more advanced configurations can be done by non-IT staff without any issue.
Cons
This isn't really Desk-Net's fault but its incredible flexibility sometimes makes organizations model their existing workflows instead of thinking about how to simplify them first.

“Going in the right direction
Pros
It's easy to use on a daily basis. The filter function works fine, though it could still be improved a bit.
Cons
I think the structural design could definitely be improved to make it more user-friendly.

“Amazing tool with excellent support
Pros
It has a very user-friendly and interactive interface. Since it runs entirely in the browser, there's no need to install anything on the client. You can configure filters and interfaces as needed for each employee. The system is very stable and we've never had any outages.
Cons
I can't really think of any significant disadvantages. Although a staging system would be useful so that I could test things out before making them live.

“Clear and high-performing
Pros
It is ideal for planning in larger editorial departments with multiple locations. It's clear, fast and efficient to use, easy to train on and quick to implement. Plus it allows for coordination with freelancers and service providers across multiple channels.
Cons
It mainly focuses on topic and appointment scheduling but it would be helpful to have more editorial management features like improved planning for services, shifts, holidays and time off.

“Desk-Net as our newsroom's core planning tool
Pros
The flexibility is amazing. It offers alot of customization options that adapt to all kinds of workflows. Even in our demanding work environment, It easily replaced our old in-house tool which was custom-tailored to our needs.
Cons
At first, It can be overwhelming due to the sheer number of customization options. But once I got the hang of the system I quickly saw the benefits of those options.
