Good system for organizing assets

Pros

I really love how simple it is to upload stuff and work with teammates all over the world. The layout is very clean and easy to figure out and there are just so many ways to organize everything. Sharing files and folders with vendors is no hassle at all. Also our rep at Amplifi is amazing very helpful and really knows their stuff.

Cons

Honestly, I don't really see any downsides. There are a few features I've asked about but every time I check in, they tell me those features are either already being worked on or coming soon, so that's pretty encouraging.

Smooth and efficient solution

Pros

Amplifi's not just for managing assets, it's become this solid info hub for our creative team. Finding and storing files is way smoother now. It's been a game changer for our sales crew too because they can grab the most up-to-date stuff and product info all from one place. That's been huge for staying sharp in the market.

Cons

Using the platform on my phone has been tricky. The search and navigation aren't quite as smooth in mobile view, so that's been a little frustrating at times.

Keeps my messy brain on track

Pros

It's great at keeping our files organized and making them easy to find. But what I really like is how they're always thinking ahead helping us reuse content across platforms and marketplaces. When we started using it, their team helped us get up and running without a hitch. I honestly use it way more than our old system and it just works better. As the e-commerce web developer, I'm constantly looking for product pics or lifestyle shots for promotions or launches. With our old setup, you had to know the exact SKU to find something. Now I can search by name, SKU or product type and narrow it right down. It's a way faster and easier setup. Plus it's saving us headaches when we push content to places like Amazon since we don't have to reformat everything a bunch of different ways.

Cons

From what I've seen so far, there's not much to complain about. The only bump we've hit was onboarding new users and it wasn't smooth. But we've been in touch with our Rep and their tech team and they've been helping us sort it out.

Ideal for large companies

Pros

I handle a massive product catalog, so managing all that can be pretty overwhelming. But It makes it way easier. Instead of dealing with the mess my clients send, I just drop it all into Amplifi and it organizes it so much better. Honestly it's made my life a lot less stressful.

Cons

I don't really have anything major to complain about. If anything, it's more on me and I haven't fully explored all the awesome features they offer. I'm sure there's a ton of cool stuff I'm just not using yet.

Always getting better

Pros

The team behind Amplifi is fantastic. They've got fresh ideas and they actually make them happen. Solid execution all the way.

Cons

The way It approaches asset access is definitely a shift in thinking, so there's a learning curve. But once I got the hang of it, I realized there's no way I'd go back to the old way. It's a serious upgrade compared to other DAMs I've used.

My experience with PXM

Pros

I seriously enjoy using It. Uploading and storing content is super easy and finding stuff later is even easier. We've got a ton of content to manage and I don't have time to waste digging through folders. It really helps me stay on top of things.

Cons

I really wish I could publish content straight to Amazon from the platform. I've heard that's on the roadmap and once it's live, I'll definitely be using that feature all the time.

Huge help during our brand transition

Pros

I'm so glad we picked It when we were going through a rebrand. That whole transition was a lot less chaotic because we had a system that made organizing and accessing everything so much easier.

Cons

It took me forever to upload everything into the system. It wasn't hard to do, just really repetitive and time-consuming. But now that it's all in, it's already saving me a lot of time and I know it's going to keep making things easier moving forward.

Solid PIM and DAM setup

Pros

The search function is awesome and it's just really simple to manage all our assets. Everything's where I need it when I need it.

Cons

I'm still getting used to it but compared to Salsify, I haven't found anything negative to say yet. So far, so good.
