“Started off great, now feels like a scam

Pros

I bought a lifetime license for this software through AppSumo and initially, I was quite impressed with it. So much so I even purchased add ons. However, ever since last year, a persistent �Upgrade to Proceed� banner has rendered it nearly unusable. I reached out to support and they assured me it would be fixed but nothing has changed. It feels very unfair and misleading to ask lifetime deal users to pay again. It's been a really disappointing experience.

The way this company operates has completely ruined my trust in them. Their actions have really tarnished my opinion of them.

SEO tracking across major search engines and the keyword generation tools are really useful.

The tool includes different sections where you can search for keywords, upload projects linked to websites, compare with competitors and track keywords for each project. It's an all in one tool.

Back in 2021, I purchased a lifetime license for this tool. At the time, it was still in development and needed funding. I used it and was happy with it, as it met the expectations outlined in the contract. However in 2023, the company behind Rank Tracker decided to disregard the lifetime deal they had offered and blocked access for all lifetime users. Now when I try to log in, I am only redirected to a page where I'm asked to purchase an annual subscription to regain access. For the past few months, the support team has been responding with vague promises that they are looking into the issue but they have made it clear that if I want to use the tool again, I need to pay for their annual support plan. This entire situation has felt like a scam and it's been a huge disappointment for those of us who trusted the company from the beginning.

I don't need that support I just want access to the product I purchased. It's disappointing to see a company go back on its word like this. They are not honoring their commitments to customers who trusted them. And if you didn't get a lifetime deal from AppSumo, be aware they could change the terms at any time and effectively take your money without providing what you paid for. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.

This is a company you shouldn't trust with your business or your data. The customer representative uses deceptive tactics to trap users, only to leave them high and dry later on. Here's why: 1) They have placed lifetime deal users behind a paywall, disguised as a "Support Plan." Several years ago the customer representative ran a lifetime deal through AppSumo, promising lifetime access to their software for an early investment. But soon after they restricted access to our accounts and insisted we purchase their "priority support" just to regain access. Despite reaching out multiple times over the last year, I have only received the same generic response and have not had my access restored. 2) They promised features like Amazon rank tracking but two years later, its clear they had no intention of adding this feature. It feels like they are just out to make as much money as possible, trapping users in their system without delivering on promises. The software itself works well for SEO and offers good visibility but when the company lacks ethics and values, it's hard to justify investing time and resources into it. There are plenty of alternatives out there with better reputations. I trusted the customer representative and it's been a huge letdown. So, if you're considering them, buyer beware!!!! you may wake up one day to find your hard work and trust gone. It's not worth the risk.

The tool itself is decent, though it's a bit buggy. It performs basic functions, but the SEO analysis and website recommendations are pretty much useless. The keyword tracking works but it's limited to just a few keywords. If you want more, you'll have to pay again.

Customer service is useless. They change pricing plans without informing you and try to charge you more. They just ghost you when you try to get answers.
