“SEO made simple and easy to understand

Pros

I really enjoy using SheerSEO. Every week, I get a helpful email prompt to track keywords and more. Plus the Dashboard has tons of tools that let me quickly spot which parts of my site might need extra attention.

Cons

Sometimes it conflicts with other on site SEO tools but as an overview and reminder tool, I really can't complain.

SheerSEO is packed with super useful tools that really help boost your SEO efforts. I'm a huge fan of the competitor research features and toxic backlink monitoring. It actually replaces a bunch of big-name tools! But honestly, the best part is the support, it's unbeatable!!! I've never experienced such quick and helpful support before. That alone makes the software totally worth buying. I definitely recommend SheerSEO to anyone looking to step up their SEO game.

“So many errors, support is unhelpful

Pros

SheerSEO offers a lot of great features and there are many possibilities if it works smoothly.

Cons

We have faced a lot of errors and contacted support multiple times, but they just say, �We don't see that error.� They don't really help and when they do, they just send you to outdated support articles. Total waste of money in my opinion.

I think the software could use a UI update but serious SEOs care more about the numbers than how it looks.

“Great value with continuously improving features

Pros

The team is very open to user feedback and has made several product changes based on my requests. I find it very userfriendly, reliable and it produces clear reports I can share with clients. I also like the white label option for agencies.

Cons

There are many features I don't actually use (like for audits, I rely on Screaming Frog like many others). It is packed with stuff and I probably need to explore more to get the full value.

Pros

What I've always liked about SheerSEO is how simple it is. Back in 2013, I wasn't familiar with SEO tools but I learned quickly and started getting valuable keyword ranking data. I used the free plan for years, which worked well before upgrading to the standard plan a couple of years later. The support is solid and the pricing is very reasonable, perfect for small businesses with tight budgets.

Cons

Some of the more complex features are found in pricier SEO tools, which makes sense given the price point.

Its features are similar to other tools but their support is way better. It feels more personal.

Cons

I wished there was a viewer account option for our web developers. When we asked, it took two days for them to create an Excel download, which is a decent workaround.
