“Prime opportunities to partner with National Brands
Pros
Skyword's editorial team is made up of skilled and friendly professionals. Not to mention, the platform is very easy to use making it simple for us to accept and submit assignments.
Cons
I have no issues at all. After working with it for a few years I have not come across a problem that the team could not quickly resolve.

“Best, Best, Best
Pros
I have partnered with several content marketing agencies over the past eight years but this platform stands out as the best, they offer great pay, provide feedback on my work and have allowed me to explore new niches. With high profile clients I have learned a lot through writing for them.
Cons
Honestly I cannot think of anything. Working with them has been great too. The content management system is very easy to use and my editors are great, they give detailed feedback helping me improve with every new project.

“Top platform to find the right words for your business
Pros
It is a content delivery platform with a freelancer network across 46 countries. To be honest, they offer a versatile environment for creating content that helps us reach our marketing goals. You can create content or blog posts in any niche available in 14 different languages.
Cons
The platform has some complex features that can be confusing at times. Also there is some lag when scrolling or accessing the image library. Each district is assigned its own log page and if you pick the wrong one, you cannot access it. Occasionally, I noticed there is a communication gap with the freelance community.

“A simple solution for all your creative content!
Pros
While looking for a content creation platform I stumbled upon it. Since then I have had no issues getting content for my website, it connects me with freelance writers I can work with on a regular basis and I have the flexibility to switch writers if needed. This makes it easier to find high quality, creative content within the same budget.
Cons
Well the mobile and app compatibility is not as smooth as it is on desktop which I feel like could be improved to make it more convenient for users. Some of their content creation policies feel a bit restrictive too making the content appear repetitive and lacking creativity at times.

“Decent tool for social media collab
Pros
You can schedule posts in advance for approval and target the best audience types. Also it is helpful to view post reports after they are published, giving us valuable insights.
Cons
Some features like the advocacy tool and Feedly do not seem to add much value. Plus, I am not a fan of having to select a campaign each time I create a post and you can't create posts for multiple platforms at once as you have to select each platform individually.

“Pay and staff are great but work varies a lot
Pros
Skyword's platform is pretty easy to use and compared to other similar sites, the pay is the best. I can also manage all aspects of my work including communication with editors and clients which makes things really convenient and most editors I have worked with have been friendly and supportive. The client base includes many premium brands I would not have had a chance to work with otherwise.
Cons
Since everything happens within the platform, any bugs can be a real problem. Like I have lost entire projects due to the spell checker crashing. The content evaluation software can be quite rigid too which becomes tricky when the word count is limited or the keyword feels forced. It would be helpful if we could submit work to the editor for review despite these issues. This way both the creator and editor could work together to find a solution. I also often struggle with understanding deadlines. When a project is first offered, the deadline is clear with the exact date and time. However once I claim the project, the deadline is only shown as the number of days left which is imprecise and not very useful.

“Amazing experience all around
Pros
I really enjoy the creative writing opportunities, flexible timing and the chance to write for different audiences. On top of that, the portal is easy to use and the staff responds quickly and is always helpful when we are in need.
Cons
Nothing really bothers me. Payment can sometimes be a little slow but I think that is due to the time it takes for the industry partner to review the articles I write.

“Writers will love this
Pros
I love that I can pitch my own ideas and choose assignments I enjoy all while making sure I can complete them within my available time.
Cons
Honestly I think the SEO approach is a bit outdated. People often search for phrases that don't flow naturally in an article but we as writers are expected to make them fit creatively.

“Trustworthy partner for freelancers
Pros
Skyword gives clear instructions for each assignment including keywords so I know exactly what needs to be done and when. Every editorial director I have worked with has been fair and responsive, creating a positive and mostly stress free working relationship. They also send out a monthly newsletter with useful tips for freelancers and information on new writing opportunities.
Cons
My concerns are minor such as sometimes the platform feels a bit too "automated" when submitting assignments. To satisfy the AI, some creative revisions are needed and that sometimes results in copy that is not as polished as it could be. Also I wish it was easier to find more writing opportunities with it.
