Affordable with great ongoing support

Pros

As a nonprofit, we did a lot of research on software before choosing NewOrg. It fit our budget and checked off all the features we wanted. We loved the onboarding process, it was personal and interactive. The best part is the ongoing support, which is really affordable after launch. The platform is easy to use, and whenever we have questions, our support person is always quick to respond.

Cons

We originally wanted software that made it easier to create custom reports. However, submitting a support ticket for a customized report is also incredibly easy, and the support team is highly responsive.

Public portal works really well for us

Pros

I really like that there's a public portal for the people we serve, making it easier for them to access resources and support. This feature is going to streamline our services. I also appreciate how the implementation team went the extra mile to create a specific portal for the social workers we partner with outside our organization to help with the process.

Cons

We're still getting the hang of the reporting feature and figuring out what we can and can't do on our own. Every request we've made has been met, and I'm hoping to get better at using the system so I can pull information independently.

Customized for our needs

Pros

Working with the customer care team, I really appreciated how they took the time to learn about our organization and what would benefit us most with NewOrg.

Cons

The one thing I don't like is that when we imported data from our old database, there were several duplicates. I had to go through and clean that up manually.

Transparent and transformative for our nonprofit org.

Pros

NewOrg has given us incredible transparency into our organization's fiscal health and current status. The real-time reporting, quick support responses, integration with other systems, and easy-to-use features have really transformed our ability to provide urgent assistance to clients and deliver great customer service.

Cons

There's nothing that isn't working to meet our organization's needs within NewOrg. They've really customized the platform to fit our unique program needs, and we've worked together to keep expanding it to better support our stakeholders.

Highly flexible and quick to customize!

Pros

This platform is incredibly flexible. We're not their typical client, but they were able to customize the platform to fit all the quirks of our nonprofit, including building 3 custom portals for stakeholders, creating custom fields for reporting, generating various reports to track our programs and show our impact, and making custom solutions to process client applications faster and more accurately. Most of these were created in hours or days, not weeks or months like other systems we've used. When we submit tickets, they're usually resolved in less than a day. If something will take longer, they let us know. The entire setup process was collaborative, focused, and even fun! It was honestly a joy to implement this system, which is something I've never said before.

Cons

We had a few items we wanted to customize but couldn't, but none of them are deal-breakers. I love the reports and dashboards, they're a huge upgrade from our old system. A few more customization options, summation options, and visualization updates would be great though.

Smooth onboarding, all positive so far

Pros

From the initial demo to answering questions to providing us with personalized attention, the experience was smooth and easy. Onboarding was possible because of the great attention we received from the staff.

Highly customizable, great support

Pros

I've had an amazing experience with NewOrg! Their software is highly customizable and has really improved our client management system. The support team was always attentive to our questions and concerns and went above and beyond to make sure we got the most out of the system!

Cons

At first, we were hesitant about the Scheduling feature because it didn't look like what we were used to. But once we started using the Calendar platform more, it quickly became second nature, and now scheduling meetings is literally hassle free.

Professional and helpful team

Pros

The team at NewOrg was professional and great to work with. Our implementation lead was quick to respond to any questions and did an awesome job customizing our database and member portal.

Cons

Sometimes, the Finance department was slow to respond when I had questions, but eventually, things got sorted out.

endless report options & great value

Pros

It captures all the data we need in an easy-to-learn format. The ability to customize reports is almost endless. So far, customer support has been outstanding. The value for money is the best in the business.

Cons

Not everything is 100% customizable. But for the cost, that's understandable.

Good for reporting

Pros

I think its pretty simple to get hang of and offers data-driven results for excellent reporting, and the flexible platform can be modified easily. The customer service is superior, and those are all the reasons I highly recommend NewOrg.

Cons

The monthly cost is creeping up, but you get what you pay for.

Game-changer for records

Pros

Charting on paper used to be so tedious and chaotic. Now, having everything in one place where staff can pull up face sheets and other records while out and about has been a game-changer for us.

Cons

I haven't run into any cons with the tool itself. The only issues I've had are getting responses from others in the community, but that's not NewOrg's fault.

Great support for custom forms

Pros

I got immediate and thorough support when I needed help inputting new forms into NewOrg. They helped customize things to fit how our organization needed them, which was such a relief.

Cons

At first, I wasn't sure if we could input forms the way we needed to, but thanks to the support we got, we found out that we could, which ended up being a huge positive for us!

Easy reporting

Pros

I came from using MS Access, which I was okay with, but getting data for reports meant spending hours navigating spreadsheets, forms, and cells. It worked, but it was time-consuming and hard to minimize human errors. NewOrg is SO easy to use. Most of the reports I need are just one click away. The support team is phenomenal and super patient!

Cons

If I had to pick something, the inventory system we're using now isn't the best compared to what I'm used to. But it's understandable, as it was custom-built for us and wasn't part of NewOrg's original scope. It works fine, but it's not ideal.

Applications work well

Pros

The applications within the platform work well, and if we need updates, the support team is always there to help us get what we need for our nonprofit.

Cons

Huge asset for our company

Pros

NewOrg has been a huge asset to our organization. It keeps our staff organized, helps us stay in touch with what services we provide, and supports our strategic decisions with thorough analysis. The reporting features are great, and I love how much customization they offer. The support we get is amazing, every person we interact with truly cares about our success. They really know their system, and they make us feel like NewOrg is part of our family.

Cons

There's very little we're not happy with. There are some minor features we'd love to see, like scanning documents directly into the system. They are a bit on the expensive side, but it's totally worth it. We're really happy with this software.
