Pros

I find the time and expense management, as well as the reporting features, very useful, especially the ability to drill down on certain aspects of projects for PMs. The reporting works well, and the batch billing is excellent for running large amounts of invoices at once.

Cons

I don't like that it only runs on Internet Explorer. The interface design could use more advancements. It would be great if they could run unposted labor reports that include the billing rates, as this is a minor inconvenience. Also, it's not HR-inclusive.

Pros

It is highly customizable and a very powerful software that meets many of my company's needs. I can create custom store procedures to automate company processes since it uses SQL as the backend database. The use of workflows is also very useful because of the task automation tools.

Cons

Training is very expensive. The security portion is cumbersome and sometimes not very flexible.

The solution offers some really useful tools for forecasting and reviewing upcoming projects. I like the ability to report data and create customized reports and methods of reviewing and previewing that data.

It is not user-friendly. The field names and their connections to other fields are not obvious to me, and it takes a long time for me to learn the system.

Pros

Deltek is simple for me to track time, break down complicated projects, and sort billings.

Cons

I've noticed that iAccess does not show a project description when entering cells, as mentioned in the review.

The capabilities are amazing. Plus, its user-friendly and customizable interface makes it easy to use.

It is a bit bulky. I wish there was more of an "a la carte" way to use the program. As a small design firm, a good portion of Vision isn't really something we use.

Pros

Deltek Vision is a complex and well-designed software but it can seem too overwhelming for non-tech untrained staff members. However, it offers a great variety of modules to help you in your business; creates some great reports.

Cons

They do not offer any tutorials with the program. I have used You Tube videos to help out periodically.
