“Saves us a lot of time

Pros

Fibery is incredibly flexible as it lets me customize my data entities and workflows exactly the way I need them. In an executive leadership role where I am juggling multiple threads at once, it has reduced the time I spend managing everything by at least 75%.

Cons

The dashboarding still needs a lot of work. Also it would be much better with more options available and I have also seen the charts behave strangely a few times without any clear explanation.

“The support team is outstanding

Pros

One of Fibery's biggest strengths is how everything connects with everything else. You can link entities across multiple databases and shape it around almost any workflow. The team behind it was also a big plus. As when we wanted to customize certain processes with scripting, they were very supportive and helped us quite a bit.

Cons

Our biggest challenge came when we tried to do multi project resource planning where different team members hours needed to be assigned across multiple projects over different weeks. That setup is not available out of the box so we tried to build it ourselves with scripting. Also the team was very helpful in getting it running but in the end it just was not practical. It kept breaking every couple of weeks after updates. Running that logic in TypeScript inside the browser alongside its components was too slow to be truly useful. So we eventually had to go back to Excel for that part which was disappointing but at least it gets the job done.

“Versatile and powerful workspace

This platform is incredibly versatile and powerful, works fairly fast and gives us almost endless ways to organize our data. The support team is also excellent and very helpful whenever needed.

Cons

There is a bit of a learning curve at the beginning but customer support provides plenty of help. Early on it can also be a little hard to feel fully confident about who has access to what across different databases.

The mind map feature is a highlight for me and I really like how flexible the databases and different views are.

Cons

At times the mind map feature stops working and I feel it still has plenty of room for improvement. Since I am a very visual person, mind mapping is by far the feature I use the most.

A downside is that it's closed source, the data is not stored locally and the shortcut options are fairly limited.

Fibery's flexibility is one of the biggest reasons it works so well for our team. It has replaced several tools for us including Notion and Jira which have really helped simplify how we work. Plus it adjusts nicely to different workflows so it fits our teams needs without much compromise. The AI features and automations are also very impressive and save us a lot of time. Another thing I really like is that the team keeps rolling out new features on a regular basis.

Cons

It can be a bit overwhelming because the interface is more complex than something like Notion. Also there is a learning curve which can be frustrating at first. Not having a mobile app is another downside. Plus it is not really designed for personal use so I still need a separate app for that which makes switching between tools a little annoying.

Just keep in mind that same level of flexibility comes with a fairly steep learning curve at the beginning.

Relational links between objects let us see all related items in one place, as long as the right views are set up.

There are still a few bugs which I am sure will be fixed. Also it is easy to get lost going down a rabbit hole of pages. So I am still figuring out the best way to avoid that.

Being able to build different views of the same dataset is a strong advantage and gives the product a lot of flexibility.

learning curve is still a challenge and the overall concept is not simple enough to roll out across more complex teams. Yes there are templates and options for advanced users but it feels like there should be more middle ground options to support the different roles within a company or team.

Pros

The way it handles relationships between databases is incredibly powerful. Notion offers something similar but this one takes it to a completely different level. Also the data driven whiteboards are another standout feature and the two way references are the best especially when paired with the powerful search which works so well that it almost feels underrated.

Cons

One part that could be improved is the form used to create new entries. For now the format feels too complex and makes the process more awkward than it should be.

Fibery's UX genuinely made me feel like using a product management tool can actually be enjoyable. Also the interface makes everything feel very easy to reach, update and adjust. Their AI addition has been useful too which is still not something you come across that often these days.

Honestly I don't really have any complaints. I am mostly just looking forward to seeing how they continue to expand the platform's functionality.

“Allows top customization and BI

Pros

Starting with a blank canvas is definitely the biggest advantage here. You get to shape the whole system yourself from the relationships to the data structure which makes it incredibly customizable. Also the built-in BI tool is excellent too and in some ways it even outperforms certain full featured BI platforms.

Cons

It does miss quite a few smaller features that other competitors already have although I understand that it has a much smaller team and probably focuses more on larger improvements. But my biggest frustration is the lack of reusable data field templates. For instance if I want a Priority field with three options, I have to recreate it manually for every single database.

Using Fibery has been a standout experience. The user interface feels top notch and it manages to offer a huge amount of functionality without feeling overwhelming. Even with how powerful it is, the platform is surprisingly easy to work in and setting everything up feels just as natural. On top of that their support team has been excellent.

Cons

The timeline view still needs a bit more refinement. It would also be better if there were more integrations available with calendar apps.

One of the best parts of it is the freedom it gives me to create my own collaboration and productivity setup instead of being stuck with whatever structure a software vendor decided on.

It rolls out new features on a very regular, almost weekly basis so there is always something new being added and that has been true for years. So honestly I don't feel like anything important is missing for me at the moment.

If you are building a company from the ground up, this feels like the kind of all in one tool you can really rely on. You can run pretty much everything in one place such as product, sales, marketing, people and more. Overall it genuinely feels like you can keep the whole company here. And I am not completely sure how far it can stretch once things get much more complex but it gives me the sense that we'll be able to keep using it for a long time as the company grows.

One thing I still miss is a stronger set of features for sharing views with people outside the company, along with a few other external sharing options.

Fibery lets you create just about any workflow you can think of. Also the built in primitive building blocks are designed really well and are easy to use. And there have been plenty of moments where I've thought, that's really clever.

Cons

It probably only needs one or two small improvements before it can truly replace Slack, on top of everything else it already replaces. Also it could use stronger integration with other software tools.

I really love how conceptual and flexible it is. And when you combine that with the ability to link different items together, it becomes very easy to keep track of everything thats happening.

The whiteboard still needs work. It can be pretty tricky to use right now although it definitely shows a lot of potential.

Fibery is not the kind of product you can sum up with a simple this is good, that is bad because that misses what it actually does. The whole point is in how everything can be woven together quickly through no-code/low-code building and connected with outside tools to create whatever kind of workplace system you need. Whether you are working solo or like us running a small venture studio with several different branches and businesses, it brings everything together into one elegant central hub with interconnected databases and tools.

Cons

Honestly nothing major comes to mind. Sometimes it makes you stop and think more carefully about how you want to structure things but I'd still take that flexibility over the inflexible, more static tools out there. As many other platforms give you a ready-made setup but keep you boxed in. But this one gives you room to build things the way you actually want as long as you're willing to think beyond the usual limits.

Fibery has become our central place for storing policies, procedures and company knowledge. Also the relational database is very powerful and has helped us organize many processes that were previously scattered everywhere. We use it to manage everything from annual OKRs to vehicle assignments by facility and for which insurance policies belong to which vehicles and even which government tax account number is tied to each legal entity we run.

Cons

Because it is such a blank canvas it can take some effort to get users fully on board even with the available templates. I'd also love to see stronger out of the box support for a few task management basics especially recurring tasks, along with PDF export and dedicated mobile apps. The option to use JavaScript for workflow automation is definitely useful but it's also somewhat restricted because there are not many libraries available for connecting with third-party software.

It is built around data and is user friendly right away. Also it works as a no-code app builder and it's actually fun to use which makes the whole experience even better.

Cons

Some parts of the reporting still feel a bit non user friendly to me.

It is highly flexible and there are plenty of ways to automate workflows to fit different processes.

Sharing information with external stakeholders was challenging and getting the read only view working without accounts took some time.

Plus it helps keep all teams aligned around the same goals by connecting everything together so information is shared instead of trapped in silos. The biggest strength is definitely how customizable it is. Its automations, flexible formulas for metrics and KPIs and integrations with third-party apps add a lot of value and make the platform especially powerful.

Cons

Because it connects so many things, there is a learning curve at first. You do not need to be a programmer but having a technical mindset helps if you want to unlock its full potential especially when building custom metric formulas or setting up more advanced automations. To its credit, it has become easier to use over the past few months and it seems to keep improving. The other limitation is reporting which is not really out of the box for executives or non-technical users. There are plenty of graphs and visualizations but they seem better suited to a more technical audience.

One thing that's missing is the ability to create subtasks and the task board view is not very easy to locate. Because of that, the team mainly uses it for time tracking rather than for task prioritization or time management since adding subtasks is not really possible and there are only milestones.

The only thing I wish were better is the login process. It doesn't remember my login so I have to sign in again every day.

I'd still like better file preview support for images and documents like PDF, DOC and XLS. It would also help to have more form options in the form builder, a more adaptive interface with more practical views and additional filtering options.

That flexibility lets us create systems and workflows that match how our architecture firm actually operates, instead of forcing us to adapt to the way some other software expects a practice to run.

The interface could use some improvement. It wasn't much of a problem when we first adopted Fibery but now that we're managing dozens of databases and a large number of views, locating things has become a bit harder. Templating also feels somewhat limited. For instance the automation rules are excellent but copying those rules across multiple databases can get a little complex.

After spending time with a few other tools, this one feels much more flexible and becomes very user friendly once you understand how it works. It lets you build the structure you need in a short amount of time and that's really what matters. We were also able to connect all the relevant processes much more naturally than with the other platforms we used before.

It still lacks specific entity level permissions and there is not a mobile app available yet.

Fibery really shines in flexibility and how quickly you can build or change its database structure. It gives you a visual, easy way to create custom data types, fields and relationships so adapting workflows as needs change feels very natural. Also setting up custom relationships between items and building complex connections is one of its strongest features. It made organizing detailed data structures much easier and updating things over time felt very doable. The interface is also clean, user-friendly and well designed. That simplicity helps you stay focused on the work and move between different views without hassle. Data entry is also smooth too as adding and editing information through tables, forms and Kanban boards is fast and efficient, with very little friction or unnecessary clicking.

Cons

Only issue I've run into is that functions and relationships can feel a bit fragile when you're editing the data schema. While it is powerful in terms of customization making changes requires some care because those updates can affect existing workflows and linked relationships in ways that aren't always obvious at first. There's definitely a learning curve in understanding how schema changes ripple through the system so it's best to handle those adjustments cautiously. That said the development team is active, releases updates regularly and seems responsive to user feedback. The product is clearly evolving, with ongoing improvements aimed at making functions and relationships more reliable over time.

“Top workspace that replaces tools

From accounting and kanban boards to resource planning and a lot more, it can be configured to handle almost any kind of workspace and adapted to fit specific needs. We ended up replacing three different tools we used every day with Fibery.

Cons

The documentation has room for improvement. A lot of the time, I had to rely on trial and error to get things set up the right way.

The mix of interactive Board, Timeline, Table, List and Calendar views makes it really adaptable to different ways of working. Collaborative Documents are also a big plus and make teamwork much better.

One thing that still needs improvement is the access permission setup. Right now it's not possible to limit users to only a specific part of the system.

It can be customized completely around what matters most to me and my team. Its relational database and automation features are incredibly flexible and making changes as we go is very simple. The dynamic filtering between relationships is especially impressive and makes the whole system feel almost magical to use. On top of that, they keep improving the item pages which is something a lot of competing tools seem to overlook. So while you can absolutely build different views to look at your data in multiple ways, clicking into an individual item never feels like an afterthought. Each item page has its own filtered views for seeing its specific relationships and you can keep drilling deeper and deeper from there. That gives it a really three-dimensional feel, where it's natural to explore further and find exactly what you need when you need it.

Cons

Compared with similar products, it has a smaller team behind it. Because of that some parts of the UI or certain features can feel a bit rough around the edges. Even so, I wouldn't let the shinier presentation from competitors pull you away. The Fibery team is consistently shipping updates and staying in touch with the community about what matters most to users. I've had some pushback from teams around certain UI elements but with how often it keeps rolling out improvements, I'm confident they'll continue making the interface more welcoming and polished for future first-time users trying to introduce it to their company.
