“code search wins”
Pros
With so much code across a large organization, being able to run targeted searches in It is incredibly helpful. A lot of our database setup is driven by code so when a query or script fails and the team needs a fast turnaround, it makes tracking down the right piece of code much quicker and more efficient.
Cons
One thing that would make it even better is if, while viewing a specific piece of code, it could directly show links to the other code it pulls from or routes to.

“Made work easier”
Pros
It is a daily essential for me.. I use it to share projects source code and developments with the rest of my team. Since I work at Jeedom, an Open Source-focused company, we rely on it every day to evolve our solution and roll out updates for our users. The interface is very enjoyable to use and having a clear history of commits from all collaborators makes organizing and tracking work much easier across the company.
Cons
To be honest, I don't have any real criticism. Conflicts do come up every now and then but as long as you remember to pull before pushing your code, it's easy enough to handle.

“helpful support for coding work”
Pros
Whenever coding gets difficult, this really helps a lot. Most software companies and employees can benefit from it when they get stuck and it makes the work much more manageable. It's been a really wonderful tool overall.
Cons
The updates have been good so far but it could be even better in the future with more beginner-friendly features. For someone new to the tool, it takes time to get comfortable so making it a bit more user-friendly would be very helpful.

“Simple and secure”
Pros
Handling code changes is really simple with branches, commits and the rest of the version control features. It also makes going back to an earlier version of the code very convenient if something breaks in production after a commit.
Cons
It's desktop app can be a little confusing at first and takes some time to get comfortable with. I still prefer using the CLI.

“Keeps work organized”
Pros
Keeping track of files, versions and updates is where this software really shines. It handles a lot for a free tool and offers much more than I expected.
Cons
Getting familiar with how everything works does take time and the learning curve is definitely steep at first. Once the team understands the mechanics and starts using it properly though, it becomes incredibly helpful.

“loving the activity board”
Pros
At first, It felt a little confusing especially when I had to deal with pull request comments but now it feels much more natural to use. I use the web version on both my PC and iPad and overall it works really well. The mobile UI can feel a bit weird at times but one feature I genuinely enjoy is the activity board.
Cons
I've tried deploying projects built with different frameworks on it but I haven't been able to get them working successfully yet.

“Great add-ons”
Pros
Getting started with it is very simple. When you create a new repository, it gives you clear instructions for adding your local source code with just a few quick commands. Beyond that, it comes with useful features like task tracking, issue management, static site hosting and plenty more. It's also highly extensible, with a wide range of Marketplace integrations you can plug in as needed.
Cons
The dashboard's accessibility and overall usability still need a lot of improvement especially so common actions can be completed with a single click.

“Code hosting done right”
Pros
It has become a go-to platform for developers and it's trusted by major companies like Google, Facebook and Microsoft. Collaborating on projects with other developers is simple which makes team development much more manageable. It also does a really good job of tracking code changes and if something goes wrong, you can roll back to an earlier version without much trouble. Also it's an excellent place to host and share code. Another big advantage is that it is free for open-source projects, while also offering premium options for private repositories.
Cons
Sure, it enables powerful collaboration... but its proprietary nature and occasional UI complexity frustrates us at times.
