Pros
I use this platform almost every day. It lets me store my code in repositories and manage it anytime from anywhere. I'm also able to share my code with other developers and work with them collaboratively.
Cons
For beginners, this software can feel a bit complicated at first. When I started using it, it definitely seemed confusing in the beginning and it takes some time to get comfortable with how everything works.

“Impressive integrations for small teams”
Pros
It is a well-known platform for software development and version control and it does that job really well. It's simple to use, comes with a lot of features and connects nicely with many other services like continuous integration and bug tracking. I would definitely recommend it for smaller organizations.
Cons
The biggest downside is the pricing if you want to use your own identity provider instead of a Github account. You're forced to move off the Team plan and upgrade to the Enterprise plan which ends up costing about five times more. That pricing policy is the reason we're moving away from it.

One of the best parts of using this tool has been how well it tracks code changes through version history. The branching and merging features are strong which makes managing different versions of a project much more organized. It also works really well for collaboration since multiple people can contribute to the same project especially when working remotely. Also it serves as a dependable backup for code by storing the latest pushed updates safely.
Cons
The less favorable side of it is that it can be a little challenging for beginners to integrate into their workflow and start using comfortably especially when it comes to learning the commands and how they work. The repository side also feels limited in terms of testing support. Another issue is that keeping track of empty folders on it can be frustrating.

Being able to take your code with you and share your software with other people on the platform is really useful and it also creates a space where users can help each other out. Also it's very convenient to upload your own files or programs so others can test them.
Cons
The downside is having to pay if you need more storage or servers since the saved files can fill up pretty quickly at times.
