“Overall review”

Pros

The adaptability to tailor it to one's specific needs, along with the "Lane" task view, enhances usability.

Cons

It is currently not possible to create "Sub"-projects assigned to specific members only, and Sub projects are not automatically merged into one Mother Project. Having all sub projects collected in one mother project, organized in a tree view, would make more sense.

“Good project management software”

Pros

I am thrilled with the template marketplace. Utilizing templates from other contributors simplifies structuring new projects, especially in unfamiliar domains.

Cons

The absence of a Gantt Chart, mobile app, and integration with Microsoft Office compelled me to switch from Gitscrum to Microsoft Teams.

“Ok product, not realtime for teamwork, very basic editor”

Pros

Its commitment to scrum is commendable, but also limiting. While simplicity is an advantage, it can also be a drawback. Many features seem similar to other apps like Trello but don't quite meet expectations, even compared to Redmine. The lifetime deal might be appealing for indie teams, but I'm not sure it's worth the price.

Cons

Performance is sluggish, nowhere near real-time as expected. - The editor is quite basic.

“A project management tool with a wonderful community and fantastic feature set”

Pros

Managing numerous projects from one dashboard is fantastic. Every time I log in, I discover new features. The active Facebook community is a great resource for any questions I have.

Cons

While the UI leaves much to be desired, the GitScrum team is actively addressing this issue. Unfortunately, there is no mobile app yet, but they're working on it.

“Everything just so so, but the customer service is so BAD”

Pros

The features almost perfectly align with my requirements.

Cons

The UX was terrible, and it still has bugs for a paid software. Moreover, the customer service never responds.

I appreciated the ability to tag tickets for task organization, even though I did not use the time tracking feature. The structure made sense, and the UI was intuitive and comfortable to navigate.

It is user-friendly, and the one-time price was perfect for me. Plus, the ability to have unlimited projects is a huge bonus.

We urgently need a Gantt chart feature and a mobile app. Also, notification functionality within the web app would be immensely helpful.

The time tracking feature is top-notch. It allows us to monitor how much time we spend on different projects.

Cons

The lack of an Overall Task List is a major inconvenience. Having to check each project individually for its task list is cumbersome. A centralized Overall Task List would greatly streamline this process.

Pros

It is incredibly simple to use, everything is straightforward. I appreciated being able to switch between scrum and kanban approaches for my projects.

Cons

The UI is pretty awful, but you eventually get used to it. However, support is not always reliable when bugs crop up, and if your internet connection is not great, the speed can be painfully slow.

“Fast growing tool in the PM field”

I found it to be a good tool with a wide range of features, especially handy for scrum projects.

Cons

I really wish the user interface was more straightforward and stripped down. There is definitely room for improvement in that department.

Some competitors offer additional features like creating invoices or proposals for clients. If GitScrum wants to grow, they should consider offering new solutions for startups beyond scrum boards.

Its continuous development and feature-rich tools rival existing software options. A one-time charge for a premium product is a significant advantage.

Cons

It is evolving into a premium product, so the pricing is high for its current state. However, I have high hopes for it once it's finished. It needs mobile support and some key features that competitors like Trello have.

Setting up was a piece of cake, and so was using it. I was impressed by the fast customer service, the option to whitelabel, and its versatility with different clients.

There is very little to say. This start-up's future hinges entirely on its reception in the market.

While initially easy to use and seemingly ideal, I soon discovered several areas where it fell short.

There is a lack of features, and one crucial feature was white labeling, but SSL has never been implemented on our sub-domain, rendering it unusable for me.

Being an early adopter in today's tech landscape is crucial. GitScrum has the potential to become a major player in the market. I've used it with a team of around 50 people, and it really helped streamline our workflow and tasks. I'm eagerly awaiting the API and Mobile App. Once those are up and running, I'll be satisfied with their progress.

Cons

There are currently no APIs available to integrate with other apps, and the lack of live refresh means that changes made to cards won't immediately reflect for other users. The UI feels a bit cluttered, although this might not be a big issue for some, especially with the focus on sprints.

Branding options - Versatility: e.g., the option to utilize user stories but not mandatory. Development progress is promising.

Cons

I am not a fan of the first page being an overview page; I prefer seeing my projects instead of my contributions. Also, the layout seems like it is designed by developers and could benefit from a redesign by a UX expert.
