“invaluable for staying organized and on schedule

Pros

I really like how it helps me stay organized and the date tracking feature is very helpful too. Overall this tool has been invaluable in every position I have held. Whenever I use it, I can keep my tasks on schedule and maintain progress on the most important objectives. In short I am a huge fan.

Cons

One thing I would love is more customization for visuals to match our brands color scheme. Also adding a dedicated marketing calendar feature would also be a fantastic upgrade.

Pros

Instagantt is user-friendly, simple to operate and presents information in a clear, well-structured way. Also I would say it is both powerful and flexible, works as a complete system, allows collaboration with people who don't have an account, is fairly priced and has outstanding support with a great self-service learning hub.

Cons

As a new user, I have noticed a few areas for improvement. The time-off feature would be better with a company-wide holiday calendar. Also I would like to create groups to assign tasks to multiple people at once. Even the subtask function requires dates and hours but I just need a simple checklist. I also want to store contact details for external contacts and add general notes for client and project details directly in a project. Finally an option to auto-update the project snapshot daily would be really useful.

I am really impressed by how well it connects with Asana and how easy it is to save Gantt charts as an image or PDF file.

Cons

I had a project with a very long timeline and the chart it created was too compressed to read easily. I had to go back and adjust the original project in Asana to make the final chart look presentable. This was probably due to my project's complexity rather than a problem with the tool itself.

Because the tool is not available in Spanish, any charts I share with clients are always in English which can be a limitation.

I did not find the Gantt charts very visually appealing. The lines connecting dependent tasks overlap with others and create a messy look. I also could not arrange the columns in the table in the exact order I wanted.

As per me it would be great if they added dedicated areas for managing budgets, client information and other related features.

I tested many AI tools to create a Gantt chart for a scientific research project and this one was definitely the quickest, most organized and delivered the best results. I was amazed by the AI-generated task descriptions as they included accurate references and were of high quality, perfectly matching the actual requirements.

Cons

Well I would really like a flow diagram view to get a better big-picture perspective. It would also be helpful if AI could automatically create descriptions for work packages I add manually.

I use Asana as well and the two platforms work together perfectly. What I love about Instagantt is its strong visual layout and how simple it is to adjust tasks and their dependencies.

Cons

Exporting data to Excel or PowerPoint is difficult and the output is not formatted well for presentations. The project summary also needs improvement to show the critical path more clearly.

The clean interface, its connection with Asana and the option to save my charts as an image or PDF are my favorite features.

I wish I could mark certain tasks as flexible so that when I adjust connected tasks, the final project deadline would automatically stay the same.
