“clear interface and helpful support”
Pros
Getting started with KatanaPIM was quick because the interface is clean, clear and user friendly. I didn't need much guidance to begin using it. Having all product information gathered in one central place has been a big advantage and saves me a lot of time compared with working in basic CMS platforms. The integrations work reliably as well, so sending product data to different sales channels is easy. Another strong point is the onboarding and support which feel personal and attentive. Whenever I had a question, the team replied quickly and was genuinely helpful in thinking things through with me.
Cons
The platformis still quite a basic PIM when you compare it with more advanced platforms like Akeneo. If you need very sophisticated features or support for highly complex product data structures, it can feel somewhat limited. On the other hand, that simplicity also means the price-quality ratio is good, since you're not paying extra for complexity you may not actually need.

“Breaks every tuesday :(”
Pros
It saves us time because we don't have to manage PIM data ourselves and since it's already an existing tool, we also avoid spending time building in-house components.
Cons
Every Tuesday it breaks, so it is unreliable. The error messages aren't helpful either and instead they exposethe platform'sinternal details, including the locations of its build folders.

“constantly evolving!”
Pros
A very user-friendly package with strong implementation support. The product continues to evolve and I like that the team is open to suggestions and feedback.
Cons
Not all information is visible at a glance yet, although that is already on the roadmap. The homepage layout could also be more compact and clearer.

“Strong and low cost”
Pros
Katana PIM offers a strong, reliable foundation as a PIM system. It's quick for all types of users to understand which makes adoption much easier. The pricing is also set up in a way that keeps costs very low compared with other PIM solutions. For Dutch companies, the direct contact with a Dutch-speaking consultant and expert is a big advantage, since it gives everyone personal support during onboarding.
Cons
Although the core ofthe platformis really good, the additional functionalities are not yet fully developed. That includes things like REST APIs, automatic updates, improved import options, AI features and workflows for more complex product models.

“Extra functionality is good”
Pros
It comes with a lot of extra functionality that can be very valuable for many organizations, including workflow options and very detailed specifications with specification groups. After you get familiar with the system and have used it a few times, it becomes easy to work with. On top of that the communication with the KatanaPIM team is strong and they are consistently willing to help. They actively look for the right solution in every situation and really try to think along with you.
Cons
All that functionality is definitely a benefit but it can also feel a bit overwhelming for less experienced users. The documentation and the way all the necessary information is collected to fully understandthe systemcould still be improved. That said, the platformhas clearly been putting a lot of effort into this in recent months and the portal where the information is available has already grown a lot in a short time. Because of that, I expect this issue will be resolved in the near future.

“Easy onboarding tool”
Pros
Getting started was easy thanks to the onboarding and customer support has been responsive with quick turnaround times. Overall it is a fairly basic system but for a smaller company it still covers the core needs.
Cons
A lot of the issues come up once you start using it more heavily. Image grouping doesn't function properly and the workflow really needs improvement because it only shows that something hasn't been done instead of reflecting what has actually been completed. User roles, permission settings and the access control list are extremely confusing and almost impossible to follow. The document and attachment area is too limited, with no option to forward anything. Performance can also dip at times, almost like the servers are slowing down, although it's hard to identify the exact cause. On top of that there are quite a few bugs that affect day-to-day work inthe platform or features that behave differently from what you would reasonably expect. One example is that adding a single spec without assigning a value can cause that spec to disappear from the product entirely.

“keeps things organized”
Pros
Connecting it with different marketplaces has been seamless and keeping all the product information organized and managed is a big plus.
Cons
Pricing is still something to consider. It's not exactly expensive but the upfront cost can feel like a lot when you're just getting started.

“always offer fast support”
Pros
Using Katana PIM has been a really positive experience. It's a very user-friendly PIM system and one of its biggest advantages is how simple it is to manage all your product data, regardless of how much experience you have with PIM tools. It also runs very fast and the search functionality is excellent. On top of that customer support replies quickly and the team is very kind and helpful.
Cons
I really haven't come across any issues, so it's difficult to point out any specific downsides tothis platformright now.

“good CRM tool”
Pros
It was easy to use especially when it's paired with the right CRM tool. The implementation process felt manageable and the UX/UI is simple and user-friendly which makes the platform comfortable to work with.
Cons
One limitation is that there isn't a lot of flexibility for self-development or external customization. In certain areas, the platformalso doesn't seem to be progressing as quickly as the industry, internet trends and online marketing needs are changing.
