“Mastt Software Review: An Advanced Tool for Project and Program Management

Pros

There are several aspects I really liked about this software such as it provides a centralized location to plan, manage, and monitor all my projects. Moreover I can easily handle resource management, track tasks, analyze performance, and utilize other features to ensure successful project completion.

Cons

Configuring the system to meet specific project requirements can be quite complicated. Mastt can also be overwhelming for inexperienced users. Additionally, some of the advanced tools in Mastt require additional payment.

Pros

Platform is simple to set up and operate and it actually delivers on its promises. The high-quality reports you get from entering data a single time are a massive benefit for any project regardless of its size.

Cons

It was a bit frustrating to see buttons for upcoming functions that weren't active yet!

Pros

You can monitor the budget and progress of building projects within a single system, no more relying on secondary spreadsheets! It simplifies keeping an eye on the overall financial health and makes reporting to your customers fast and simple.

Cons

Getting all the starting information into the system takes some time. But after the initial budgets and agreements are in making updates and following expenses becomes very simple.

Pros

We used to handle project finances with a complex, macro-heavy Excel workbook. This system automates that entire process eliminating the chance for human error and broken calculations.

Cons

I'd love more control over the layout. For example being able to rearrange the order of budget lines later on would be fantastic. I've noticed the team is already exploring ideas like this in their test version.

“Reduces risk

Pros

It lowers the risk of mistakes in spending plans and cash flow, gives a view of combined data and program patterns and helps standardize information, making it clearer and simpler to understand. The team is very hands-on and quick to act on suggestions. The platform is logical to use and always improving to suit user requirements better.

Cons

You can't easily compare data from different points in time and the printed reports have limited formatting choices. The good news is I'm told both of these are planned for future updates.

“Clear executive dashboard

Pros

The main dashboard with its visual charts. This overview of projects is a feature we currently lack. We're still testing it and haven't shown it to leadership yet but I can tell it will give executives a much clearer and more direct grasp of capital projects.

Cons

In general I wish both regular users and admins had more power to change things. It would be helpful if people could build, edit and remove their own charts and summaries. A direct link to our main finance system would also be amazing so spending data could transfer automatically instead of being typed in by hand.

Pros

The program is a solid fix for the problem of spotty or repeated information in project updates. Having the data stored online and editable live is a major advantage for both me and my clients.

Cons

Don't have any serious complaints. My only small wish is that they handed out more complimentary t-shirts.

Pros

It's simple to use and the help team provides excellent backup when required.

Cons

It required a short period to become comfortable with moving around the different sections.

Pros

The system is simple and it gives you a live view of the Project's Financial Plan.

Cons

Honestly there's very little to criticize. It's a significant upgrade over the program we relied on before.

Pros

It presents financial details in a clear and concise way. The company is always asking for input on how to improve the platform and is helping me learn methods to pull out information that is customized for my specific needs.

Cons

A few parts of the platform were initially sluggish to appear on screen but the most recent refresh has made things faster.

Pros

Love that it streamlines running a whole portfolio of projects in one place and it's very easy to operate.

Cons

Sometimes there's a delay because of my web connection or their servers and we occasionally run into software glitches.
