An intuitive approach to managing a project Kanban is very useful

Pros

This project management software is incredibly easy to use and understand. I particularly enjoy the availability of templates especially the Dve Opps Template. Additionally the mobile app is highly convenient.

Cons

The software lacks a specific area for managing risks. However there are alternative methods to overcome this and incorporate issue tracking.

Why this costs money I'm not sure

Pros

Leankit serves as a decent collaboration suite that proves helpful in tracking details related to project management. However considering there are free or mostly free alternatives like Trello available, I am not entirely convinced why this software is worth the investment.

Cons

Firstly, the Trello interface is cleaner and more intuitive. Secondly the basic version of Trello, which is sufficient for 90% of users is free.

A strong Kanban app with focus on ease of use

Pros

It is a fantastic, user-friendly Kanban app with a clean interface and easy to use boards. It allows quick changes to projects quickly and efficiently.

Cons

The interface feels a bit outdated compared to similar apps and could benefit from better support for non-Apple ecosystems.

Flexible lean project management tool

Pros

Leankit was fast, flexible and allowed our team to work independently. Although our company eventually transitioned to a more feature rich tool that better suited our needs, I would still consider Leankit a great solution that deserves a spot on your shortlist.

Cons

During my usage, it wasn't easy to share work across multiple boards. The only option at the time was to create a master board and establish dependencies from there. This approach only worked if you planned it from the beginning. However, if you decided later on that you wanted to do this, it became much more difficult to retroactively build that hierarchy. Additionally, it would strip new lines from descriptions, and while there were workarounds with tags, it was frustrating not to have automatic wrapping.

Easy way to both manage own tasks and maintain visibility and collaboration with teammates

Pros

Task creation is not a hassle anymore with this software. It can be as simple or as complex as you want, ranging from a basic task name to including start/end dates, resource assignments, categorization and more.

Cons

It is challenging to have subcategories as everything is organized in columns. It would be great to have a Windows like organizational structure.

Easy to use and navigate software for project management

Pros

Most actions can be accomplished with just a click of the mouse or even through simple drag and drop. I also like the option to customize colors for different types of tickets.

Cons

Sometimes, when I drag a ticket and move it to another lane, it doesn't save there, and I have to try moving it multiple times until it finally drops into the designated lane.

LeanKit makes my first intro to kanban

Pros

The amount of learning content available is truly incredible. The standard subscription is complete and reasonably priced. The easy to use RSS/calendar feeds make integration with my calendar a seamless experience. Additionally, the wide variety of templates greatly assists beginners like me in quickly getting started. The implementation of responsive design across the desktop and iOS app is well-executed.

Cons

The UI is functional and straightforward but it feels a bit basic. Applications that you use throughout the day should evoke feelings of love and warmth (similar to Slack). As someone completely new to lean and kanban and with my tendency to jump in without reading documentation, I would prefer having a search field in the in-app help instead of links to tutorials and knowledge base. I want to be able to open the help window, type "how do I X the Y?" and instantly see the results. Interestingly, clicking the (?) icon in the toolbar opens the Privacy Policy.

Robust Tool

Pros

Leankit allows you to create a completely customized board while staying true to the essence of Kanban. It provides an easy way to see who is working on what and when a task has been assigned to you.

Cons

It sends an excessive number of emails. Every little change made to a task or board is emailed to you, even if you were the one who made the change. While I understand that some email notifications may be necessary, there should be an option to subscribe to only specific types of notifications.

Easy to manage and track business task progress

Pros

LeanKit is designed to be user friendly and easy to navigate. The "card" format is visually appealing and highly functional.

Cons

I would like to see more detail, possibly behind the cards and perhaps different formats for those who prefer a more list-like structure.

Lots of features, but too complicated

Pros

The customization options, features and flexibility provided by the software is quite impressive.

Cons

I have experienced technical issues and faced difficulties unsubscribing from emails. The customer service was unhelpful and the process for tasks was tedious.

Helps us organize a lot of tasks for a medium sized team

Pros

It's easy to use and offers rich functionality. The webinars and tools provided are helpful in getting the team on board.

Cons

Despite the availability of numerous integrations, it seems there is still room for improvement. Essential scrum supporting tools like the burndown chart are not intuitive to use from day one.

Awesome for multifaceted swimlanes

Pros

Once you get used to it, the interface become intuitive. It offers great flexibility, allowing you to flood your favorite problem children with email tasks until they scream (or create a spam filter). The presence of multiple swimlanes and sublanes is mind blowing. Seriously... experiment!

Cons

There is a slight learning curve (although it's not a major issue, trust me). Additionally, the tags are not selectable.
