Simple Jira integration

Pros

The platform is simple to operate, links up effortlessly with Jira and most importantly it's a genuine help in my everyday product manager tasks.

Cons

While it connects easily with Jira, there's a limit to how much you can tailor it. If your needs for connections are very complex, this might not be the right fit.

Great for alignment

Pros

I'm thrilled to be using this tool again. I relied on it at a past job and was happy to bring it into my new company. A few things are different from two years ago, but it remains an excellent resource for getting everyone on the same page. I love how simple it is to share our plans, stay adaptable and involve other people in the process.

Cons

This isn't just a problem with this tool, it's common across many platforms. You have to put in the work to teach your team and partners about the different terms and how they connect to each other.

helpful Slack integration

Pros

The connection with Slack is my favorite part. I can see customer suggestions directly in Slack as they arrive. I love that it works within the program I already use all day so I don't have to remember to log into its website constantly.

Cons

The standard email preferences are a bit much. I was getting a bunch of summary emails and promotional messages that became irritating. Turning them off was simple but I wish they weren't so aggressive by default.

weak data screens

Pros

While the tool is simple to set up and begin using, it can feel a bit rigid in its specific product management philosophy. Also many of the data screens aren't very powerful and can be awkward to handle.

Cons

Although it's simple to set up, the platform pushes its own specific product management method quite heavily. On top of that many of the data screens aren't very powerful and are clunky to work with.

can get cluttered

Pros

Writing up feature ideas and sorting them for future planning is a so simple. It creates a really powerful visual for our product roadmap, letting us see all the different ideas and how they're grouped. It also works with Trello, another tool our team relies on.

Cons

The feature ideas can pile up and the supposedly clean visuals get cluttered fast. I'd love an extra level that summarizes everything, helping us see the big picture without all the noise.

buggy with poor support

Pros

It's certainly better than having no system at all. It lets our team discuss ideas for the product's future and sort them neatly into different categories.

Cons

The help team isn't very impressive and the platform can be glitchy. Suggestions sometimes vanish and then pop back up and it often incorrectly claims to be offline.
