“Project Insight: What more could one ask for?”
Pros
All work related to project management can be neatly organized and presented for our clients. They can also gain "insights" into how their projects are progressing and what is needed in the future. This interactive tool has made us more productive since the clients can collaborate with the team and help improve our performance along the way. With this software, we have been able to deliver as per our schedule and manage projects with the highest efficiency. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to manage a lot of clients with minimal effort. Just let them work for themselves!
Cons
It has a weird procedure in which you must move to certain areas to perform common tasks, such as entering hours. For example, if you are working on a project in which you have already entered the hours worked but realize there is a mistake, you cannot just change it immediately. You have to go back towards the time entry area to change the number of hours worked. And the mobile app does nothing to help with this either. They should add an option to automatically change the status of tasks and project phases so that the client knows what’s going on currently.

“Helped us get rid of paper clutter.”
Pros
Before Project Insight, a lot of our time was spent entering and maintaining manual data sheets. That has been eliminated entirely, but the effort we spent was not lost; the data was smoothly imported into the PI database, which has allowed us to align all of our projects by arranging the data into more useful forms. We now manage tasks more professionally and divide the workload between teams through the scheduling features of the software. Any project manager can just log in and have a quick glance at the project’s progress, which includes tasks, due dates, and expectations.
Cons
This is more of a suggestion section from me, as I havent found any actual "cons" to the software. Anyone looking to implement the software should spend some extra time and effort generating the templates they will eventually use. Importing multiple projects and making even a little modification without templates would take a lot more of your time than was required. I wanted to include this point since the implementation of the software itself is not very easy and takes its own sweet time. That valuable time would be saved if there were no templates to begin with.

“Perfect for businesses of all sizes!”
Pros
Project management is not complete without Quickbooks for us, and we are happy to report that Project Insight also integrates 100% with it. It is so easy to just start working with the software, thanks to its user-friendly UI. It is very reliable as a reporting tool, and all reports can be customized to change their entire layout if you want. The dashboard is also customizable, but the default configuration it comes with is pretty intuitive for me. I wouldn’t call it cheap, but it is definitely affordable enough to be implemented in a mid-sized organization like ours. It also has very handy customer support.
Cons
In my case, I had a difficult time adjusting to the built-in reports since the naming conventions employed are uncommon. I had to spend some extra time learning my way around the awkward titles, and I had to customize a lot more. And if you’re looking for an accounting solution as well (which is expected since a project management suite should include it), then look elsewhere because it is not focused on accounting and does nothing to help you there. Also, the software does not integrate well with software other than Quickbooks. For example, Salesforce doesnt work as well with Project Insight as it does with Quickbooks.
