Appreciating almost everything about it I am not a Microsoft fanboy but "Microsoft Project" is exceptional for managing projects. Its versatility allows assigning each stage/part to the relevant team members even to multiple individuals.

Cons

Perhaps I haven't discovered this option yet but I wish there was the ability to set up an automatic email notification when an assigned stage/part is completed.

Pros

Delighted that our company uses Microsoft PPM the latest versions feature an attractive graphical interface providing convenient project management.

Finding certain features and shortcuts can be problematic and the software tends to load slowly occasionally resulting in Microsoft PPM crashes.
