“Started using it recently and I wonder why haven't done so until now!”
Pros
Appreciating almost everything about it I am not a Microsoft fanboy but "Microsoft Project" is exceptional for managing projects. Its versatility allows assigning each stage/part to the relevant team members even to multiple individuals.
Cons
Perhaps I haven't discovered this option yet but I wish there was the ability to set up an automatic email notification when an assigned stage/part is completed.

“Great manager for projects and long term assignments”
Pros
Throughout my engineering career I extensively utilized this product. Noteworthy features include the ability to link different project components facilitating easier management of timeline shifts for deliverables. The user interface was user-friendly allowing the layout of comprehensive plans on various scales.
Cons
The primary drawback is associated with sharing and collaboration. Manual updating of worksheets is frequently necessary due to licensing restrictions especially when only a few engineering team members have the product installed. Collaborating with multiple contributors becomes time-consuming.
