Pros

For my small business, I can handle everything I need in Reckon One from invoicing and payment reminders to expenses, loans and getting ready for BAS. It's quite user-friendly and after 18 months I haven't had to contact support. Updates come regularly and have fixed bugs and smaller issues with useful improvements to the functionality along the way. The price is also excellent value. I couldn't find another platform with this many features at such an affordable cost. My accountant isn't especially keen on it but since I run the business on my own, I'm very happy with it.

Cons

Having to log in through an internet browser isn't ideal for me. I'd prefer the option of using a desktop app or program.

It is user friendly, saves me time and offers good value for money especially for a small business where every bit of time matters.

Reconciling bank accounts is easy so I haven't had any issues with online or cloud access.

Creating invoices is easy. Invoicing and security are the features I appreciate most. Sending invoices by email works well.

It would help to have an option to email invoices to the user's email address along with alerts when a payment is due.

New users may need time to learn some features in my opinion and bank feeds or report customization could use occasional improvement.

It's quick and simple to use even for someone like me with very little bookkeeping knowledge. GST/BAS is an absolute piece of cake.

A couple of odd interface bugs make it less than ideal to use on an iPad. It would also be helpful if incoming bank transactions could match outstanding invoices.

Invoicing is pretty much all I use it for and it handles that well. The cost is reasonable and I check quarterly income with its financial reports.

After using it for about 4 years, I found it easy to learn and am sure that it offers good value for money compared with other software packages.

Since I started using it 4 years ago, the price has increased quite a lot. At times, the software also seems to duplicate receipting.

The functionality and features, particularly the stock management capabilities, are remarkable. Even after years of experience with other similar software, I still consider Quickbooks, Intuit, or Reckon (by any name) to be top-of-the-line.

Some areas require improved guides or instructions to provide users with better information. What may be considered popular information for the programmer might not align with the user's interpretation and capabilities. More work is needed to address content within the context of user understanding.
