“Simple platform with full visibility
Pros
The platform is simple to operate but still delivers full visibility into requirement origins. It works perfectly as a master list of upcoming work. A major plus is that groups can monitor problems that aren't tied to particular checks. You can connect different items together with a single click. Staff assignments are shown clearly and you can create your own pick-lists and process steps.
Cons
I had to understand XML to change the standard reports which was a bit of a hurdle. The sample files the company gives you are helpful but they feel a little old and could use a refresh.

“Standardized testing
Pros
The tool puts standard testing principles into practice. It's simple to operate across various project areas and offers a huge range of options for managing work.
Cons
I don't have any major complaints but I really think the link with Jira should be stronger. Right now it doesn't sync every type of item both ways.

“Manages the clientele of all departments with ease
Pros
No matter how advanced our systems are, we still have to consider what systems our clients are using. That is exactly why I love SpiraTeam since it has everything, I need to work with tech clients who still use something like Waterfall in their planning. It helps when I don’t have to force them to switch to our system. I was able to plan our development trains based on iterations and project them for everyone to see on a scrum board. SpiraTeam makes test case planning and tracking faults easy, and I love that.
Cons
I would have appreciated it if SpiraTeam had better integrations with common testing tools available on the market. They have a training program that is suitable for developed companies but not ideal for start-ups and scale-ups. And while it is not a big issue, I think a fully developed training program with helpful videos would go a long way.

“SpiraTeam makes your efforts more yielding and visible!
Pros
It is very easy to break down a project into smaller, more manageable pieces with SpiraTeam. We appreciate that our managers are actually seeing what we are doing right instead of just reacting when something goes wrong. Everyone’s work can be seen literally moving forward on the planning board. This not only gives us a clear picture of what is being done, but also highlights who is performing the best amongst us. It is an excellent solution for an insurance company. Spirateam offers very tight integration from requirements to development, testing, and completion.
Cons
For us, the most difficult aspect of using this new tool was deciding at what level to enter the criteria into the system. We decided to enter features into the tool as requirements and develop user stories for each feature because we were shifting to agile at the same time. It was pretty effective, but my team noticed some lags. I am sure it is because of our interference with the tools and not an issue with SpiraTeam itself. Everything started to perform much better after a quick consultation session with the technical team, which advised us to make a few modifications (BA, developer roles, etc.).

“Delivers on the performance it promised!
Pros
We have been doing so much better with our projects now that we use SpiraTeam. Given the high functionality of the software, it has become much easier to customize workflows as needed and achieve improved outcomes. However, what I really appreciate is that we are getting all these features at a very reasonable price. Moreover, the customer team has been quite supportive right from the point of software implementation. They always respond to our queries and provide timely resolutions.
Cons
As I said, the customer support team has been so helpful, but there is one issue that has been consistent. The software becomes really slow at times. We have reported this issue, and they have responded and resolved the issue.

“Amazing combo of features and performance delivery
Pros
My team and I can agree that SpiraTeam offers a great combination of features. The team has been able to significantly improve its overall performance and project outcomes using these features. The customer support team has also been incredibly helpful. At times, they have also responded to our issues over the weekends. I firmly believe that the vendor takes user feedback seriously because I have seen improvements with new updates. I am confident that the software will become even better with upcoming updates.
Cons
SpiraTeam has proven to be a valuable software application for your project management needs. However, I would like to see some improvements on certain issues. The software does not include a copy feature for workflows. Therefore, I cannot duplicate a specific workflow type if it fits well with another project. This, of course, adds tediousness to our work. At times, the software becomes slow, and I think the development team should investigate this issue. I am positive that there will be an improvement in these problems.

“Complete application lifecycle hub
Pros
My favorite thing is that this platform is a complete hub for everything related to the application lifecycle. It's also a top-tier choice for managing software or product development.
Cons
Wish I could choose to hide some of the more advanced information. All the fine details aren't always necessary.

“reliable system but needs reporting upgrades
Pros
This is a reliable system that runs well on various internet browsers like Chrome, Opera and Firefox with no conflicts. It's a breeze to operate and look after and a major strength is its solid connection with AxoSoft OnTime. My advice is to use it for your daily tasks and ask for help from their tech crew if you need it. I'd also suggest asking the company to include more functions in a future update. The platform still has room to grow but it's headed in a good direction.
Cons
The development team has a lot of areas they could work on for a future version. The data tables, personalized reports and the way needs are handled all need attention. Specifically, I'd love to see more ways to build custom reports, better testing tools and a faster system for managing project needs.

“Easy to use for quality teams
Pros
My quality team has relied on this for close to a decade. I'm a big fan, it's easy to use, simple to monitor my group's output, easy to follow a requirement's path and no-fuss to hand out work. It's a top-quality system overall.
Cons
For the parts of the tool I use, I'm perfectly happy with what it does.

“Clean interface, DevOps sync issues..
Pros
The application is clean and simple to understand. The main home screens are a helpful launchpad for your everyday tasks.
Cons
When we bring in project needs from DevOps, the original layout doesn't come across. Once we sort them into new groups, we lose sight of how they were initially categorized.

“highly configurable for clients
Pros
You can set up nearly every part of it. This let us produce documents and views that were a good fit for two different customers.
Cons
A few of the labels for data fields feel forced or unnatural and sometimes I have to hunt for things because the menu layout isn't where I'd expect. I'm hoping these are just temporary issues as I get used to the system.

“Simplified test automation
Pros
This program simplified our automated testing. Linking it with other services was simple. It's a completely groundbreaking system. It's a mighty instrument if you use it according to its purpose.
Cons
Sometimes the challenge is with the people using it. They don't always grasp the intended purpose of a feature and get frustrated when it doesn't match their own way of thinking.
