Easy website markup for team

Pros

I appreciated the ability to add comments to a website page to share with my developer.

Cons

Initially, figuring out how to toggle commenting on and off on a webpage was challenging.

Simple to use and does exactly what it's supposed to!

Pros

It is incredibly user-friendly with a clean UI even our clients find it cool and convenient for providing feedback.

Cons

As a growing company, some features are still in progress. While it's easy for clients to use, they still need to create an account and install a Chrome extension. Also, receiving emails from Volley, such as feature updates, can be frustrating for one-time users. However, I believe white-label functionality is on its way.

One of the easiest collaborative solutions on the market

Pros

Volley's UI and UX rank among the finest. The meticulous attention to detail is remarkable, reflecting their dedication. It's incredibly user-friendly, intuitive, and a huge time-saver. Enabling clients and team members to annotate projects seamlessly elevates my professional standing.

Cons

There are not many drawbacks, really. I just wish there were a few more options for feedback tools and annotation, but the platform itself is fantastic.

Worked for me for seamless project management/editing

Pros

This software is Easy to comment, collaborate in real-time and achieve quick turnarounds.

Cons

Setting it up as an extension initially was tricky, especially for someone inexperienced with apps and Chrome extensions.

Great for proofing websites

Pros

I appreciate being able to make edits directly on the webpage. Previously, I had to create PDFs of a page and make edits there, which was very time-consuming.

Cons

I did not like that I could not view all sticky notes on a page simultaneously. Navigating through the list on Volley can be confusing.

The best collaborative software for webdesigners I have seen!

Pros

Volley makes it incredibly simple to capture a screenshot of anything on the internet and leave feedback for discussion. Whether it's an issue on a site I'm developing for a client, post-website updates for maintenance clients, or a feature a client admires on another site, the process is seamless. Plus, Volley keeps improving with more features. The developers are easily reachable, and the public roadmap is actively developed, allowing for suggestions.

Cons

Starting to use it for the first time can be a bit challenging, especially since everything is in English and not translated into Swedish.

Makes QC So Easy!

Pros

I love how straightforward Volley is to use. It simplifies conveying website edits to our development team. Previously, we used Google Sheets for tracking edits and adding screenshots, but Volley makes it much easier to list and highlight necessary changes.

Cons

I can not think of anything I dislike about it.

Timesaver

Pros

Making comments directly on the functional website is amazing and saves significant time in conveying client changes to the development team. The feature allowing screenshots to be added to comments is particularly useful for addressing differences in screen size/resolution.

Cons

Sometimes, when there is a pop-out menu or overlay, it closes when I try to make a comment, making it impossible to comment on it. I have to comment on the button to pop out.

Volley Review

Pros

The thing I really enjoyed about using Volley was its add-on process. It provided a quick and efficient way to gather feedback on my designs. Our product manager also found it convenient, eliminating the need to screenshot and crop screens to write feedback, especially for designs on Webflow.

Cons

Collaboration on Volley was somewhat disappointing. When my manager gave me feedback, I asked a follow-up question but never received a response. I realized later that I wouldn't be notified via email for missed messages on the project. So, I resorted to asking questions on Slack to ensure prompt responses.

Simple and does the job!

Pros

This app is fantastic. It is a really simple way to communicate website changes with clients. I love that you can leave comments directly on the live site, and resolving comments is straightforward and intuitive.

Cons

The lack of a white label option and an embeddable widget is a drawback, but I am hopeful they'll be added soon, making it ideal.

Has Potential But Not Good for Big Projects

Pros

it is Simple to use, accessible to anyone for assigning tasks.

Cons

It lacks organizational features. When dealing with more than 20 tickets, sorting items by priority, pending status, or readiness for review becomes impossible. Managing large volumes of tickets becomes challenging.

Huge improvements in web site bug management

Pros

Exceptionally user-friendly with excellent documentation. Even customers with less technical know-how find it easy to set up.

Cons

Easy to use and get participation from others

Pros

it is Simple, without overwhelming features. The free tier is excellent for testing it out. I found it more valuable than similar tools if you only need the basics.

Cons

Adding the ability to upload additional screenshots to a message thread would be helpful for illustrating changes or related information.

Game Changer

Pros

It is been a game-changer for keeping everyone on the same page and ensuring projects stay on track. I don't know how we managed without it and now use it for all our projects.

Cons

Getting clients to install the browser plugin can be a bit tricky. It would be better if they didn't have to set up their own accounts, although it's free. I understand these changes are in progress.
