Privacy Invasion

Pros

There's nothing good I can say about this company. It was completely useless, they pushed me to hand over all of my private information and then hit me with late fees. I strongly dislike both the company and the people working there. I would never recommend using it unless you have no other choice.

Cons

Pretty much everything about it was awful. They don't offer anything genuinely useful yet they still forced me to provide confidential information. Also they charged me late fees without providing what was needed. I also had to keep confirming sensitive details an absurd number of times and the constant requests for that information made no sense at all. I genuinely hate this company.

helpful resident communication hub

Pros

It gives our community a convenient way to share everything from important announcements to fun upcoming events with all residents at once without exposing anyone's personal contact information.

Cons

One thing I'd really like to see is a tagging feature like the ones most social platforms have. For instance if a resident lists an item for sale and someone comments with a question it would be helpful if the seller could be notified immediately so the conversation could move along faster.

Convenient tools

Pros

Having everything in one place has been really helpful for both our team and our residents. Online payments are convenient, maintenance can be scheduled without extra back and forth, personal details are simple to update and the platform also gives residents a way to connect with each other.

Cons

Uploading documents can be inconsistent which gets frustrating. Residents would also value getting notifications whenever changes or updates are made in the platform. We've been waiting months for the Community Rewards integration and the service request categories don't always line up with the ones in Onesite so our maintenance team usually has to go back and correct them manually.

too intrusive for payments

Pros

Both residents and staff can use it without much trouble and the overall interface feels very user friendly.

Cons

Something that really bothers me is the recurring payment setup. Residents are asked to provide highly sensitive personal details like a Social Security number, passport information and birthdate. That feels far too invasive and I really wish there were a way to avoid that.

not very stable

Pros

Only the Daily Digest is useful. I don't always need to sign in to the app every day but it still keeps me updated on what's going on in the community.

Cons

The platform isn't very stable. As a resident and customer there are times when something is broken and I'm unable to pay my rent which is really frustrating.

Pros

Being able to pay online, send in service requests and update personal information without calling the office has been really helpful for residents.

Cons

There are still some glitches now and then that can force residents to create a new account and the sync with RealPage OneSite does not always work consistently.

Good Mobile App !

Pros

A mobile app makes a big difference since residents do not have to get on a laptop every time they want to connect with others. It feels a lot like a Facebook style platform built specifically for apartment communities and it works really well for bringing residents together.

Cons

Not much that feels truly bad about it but the app still has room to improve. It can be slow to load and it does not always keep users logged in which means we have to keep checking manually for messages. Notifications also do not appear on the phone screen the way they do with other social media apps.

better resident communication

Pros

One thing I really appreciate about it is how it helps you connect with residents. It's not limited to paying rent or submitting work orders. It also does a really good job supporting communication between the office staff and residents.

Cons

I haven't run into anything I dislike with the parts I've used so far although there are still some features I haven't had the chance to try yet.

All in one resident hub

Pros

Everything being in one place is what makes this tool so useful. It works well for both residents and staff and it covers pretty much everything needed for building, resident and portal management. There are lots of features available but you can choose which ones to use and which ones to ignore. Being able to chat with neighbors without the awkwardness of knocking on someone's door and introducing yourself is an advantage. I also really appreciate being able to message residents and staff, pay rent, check the community wall and update my information all from the same platform.

Cons

Privacy can be a concern because other people in the community are able to see that you live there and I've heard a lot of residents say they are uncomfortable with that. Getting started with the interface can feel a bit awkward at first and the number of options can be overwhelming in the beginning. I'm also not a fan of the high credit and debit card fees which makes that part of the experience feel less user friendly.
