responsive support that delivers

Pros

One of the biggest highlights for me has been their amazing tech support. Anytime I have a question or concern I get a response within minutes which has been a huge improvement compared to the property management software I used before.

Cons

There are still a few small glitches here and there but nothing serious enough to impact my business in a major way. It hasn't been a deal breaker for me at all.

highly professional

Pros

Everyone has been very professional and genuinely helpful. They're also extremely responsive and clearly well informed across a range of related topics.

Cons

Great fit for property management

Pros

After comparing three different PMS options we chose this because it checked every box we had: simple onboarding, integrations with all our booking channels like Airbnb, VRBO and Booking.com and pricing that made sense. We have not regretted the decision for a second. My wife really enjoys being able to automate messages and trigger them based on custom settings she can adjust anytime. On my side the customer support has been excellent especially how quickly they respond whenever we have a question or run into an issue. The biggest advantage is being able to manage multiple properties, all our tasks and our Pricelabs integration in one place and the cost is basically equal to one night's booking each month. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone managing one property or several.

Cons

My only complaint is that we did not come across it earlier. I only discovered the software by chance through a Facebook group.

all properties in one view

Pros

Managing multiple properties from a single system has been really convenient and there are plenty of integration options available. Being able to control nightly rates for every property from one view is especially useful.

Cons

Reporting side is a bit difficult to work with and usually needs to be customized. I still rely on separate software for accounting and owner statements.

Quick fixes

Pros

Whenever I need help the customer support team is excellent. They respond quickly to questions about using the platform and being able to schedule support meetings is really helpful.

Cons

The reporting still needs to be expanded for multi unit properties. A few features can be buggy at times although they usually get fixed.

five years of reliable growth

Pros

After five years with the software I'm still impressed by how much it continues to improve. The integrations and channel management work really well and are simple to set up. Their tech support has also been outstanding. We manage around 30 properties and since our whole team uses the mobile app it's much faster and more efficient to reply to guests even while moving around the resort.

Cons

There isn't anything I dislike about it. We haven't once thought about switching to another property management system.

great value and integrations

Pros

I have been comparing quite a few PMS options I'm really glad we chose this one. It has all the core features we needed, the platform is very stable, the support team has been excellent and there are plenty of third-party integrations available. The overall value you get from it is tremendous.

Cons

One thing I do appreciate is that Hostfully actually listens to user feedback and collects suggestions through UserVoice. Honestly there's not much I dislike about it. If I had to point out one thing, I'd say I'd love a bit more flexibility with outbound emails though that's a pretty niche concern.

a complete learning hub

Pros

Something I really appreciate about it is the support team and the knowledge hub which makes learning how the system works much easier. The chatbot is also handy for quickly finding the right articles and navigating the Help Center.

Cons

Messaging and inbox interface could use some improvement though it still gets the job done. Sometimes messages are also a bit slow to load.

Flexible tools

Pros

The support team is one of the best parts about it. They're amazing, reply quickly and always follow up on anything that's still pending. The sync time with other integrations is also really good, the platform is user friendly and the customization options are a big plus.

Cons

The recent layout changes weren't really to my taste. That said I do appreciate the update that added more bulk action options across all of our properties.

All in one platform I enjoy

Pros

Right away the software stood out for its user friendly layout and how it brings everything together in one place. It makes daily operations much more organized and cuts down on a lot of time consuming tasks. On top of that the customer support team is quick to respond and genuinely receptive to feedback which makes using the platform even more positive.

Cons

At the same time a few helpful features still feel somewhat limited and could use more flexibility. For instance the stay dates in the variables still show up only in English so we have to manually adjust them in every message. It's also not possible at the moment to assign a new booking to a returning guest without entering all of their information again. There are also quite a few duplicates and the system doesn't merge similar inquiries coming from the same person. Overall there are still a number of small glitches but the encouraging part is that the team keeps working on improvements and we truly appreciate the effort they continue to put into the platform.

helpful support

Pros

More than anything the service has been the highlight. The team is usually quick to respond and they are incredibly patient and pleasant whenever I need to talk with them. They keep improving the platform and after comparing it with other companies this one feels user friendly and supportive from start to finish. If you manage more than five properties the subscription offers really solid value.

Cons

Updates can sometimes take a bit longer than I'd like although that has been improving. The website they provide is priced well but the design options and overall appearance are still pretty limited.

Accessible platform

Pros

The platform feels accessible and user friendly overall. With that the customer service has been excellent and it really helps that there are support agents who speak Spanish as well.

Cons

Getting everything set up at the beginning was a little overwhelming. I had to go through several guides and pieces of documentation before I fully understood how to configure the system properly.

reliable property management boost

Pros

Running my properties through this software has made a real difference and it's been an amazing platform overall. It has helped me streamline daily operations, save a lot of time and handle a significant amount of business in one place. The core features perform really well and it feels like a dependable solid tool for property management.

Cons

A handful of additions would make it even better for the way I work: being able to include extra email addresses in a guest group sorting message templates by the order they're sent and by property and taking payment upfront when adding extra items to a booking. Improvements in those areas would have a meaningful impact on my workflow.

Smart reports

Pros

Has a strong feature set, plenty of integrations and some of them are even included at no extra cost like Turno which has already helped lower my monthly expenses since I signed up. The owner reports are detailed, customizable and can be generated automatically which is a big plus. It's also clear that the software pays attention to user feedback and works to improve the platform whenever they can. In just the 6 months I've been using it several new features have already been rolled out.

Cons

One area that still feels inconvenient is managing scheduled messages. Right now I can't use the mobile app inbox to change a scheduled message so I have to open the browser on my phone, figure out the way through different tabs and cancel it there instead. After that I have to go back into the messages inbox, pick the template and send it manually. From the inbox templates can only be sent right away not rescheduled. I also can't edit an existing scheduled message to adjust the send time or change the content the way I can with Airbnb's scheduled messages. Sometimes a template no longer fits a specific stay and I really miss being able to quickly update something like a checkout time or door code without having to cancel the entire message first. That said since it seems proactive about making updates I can imagine this being improved down the line.

excellent expanding options

Pros

There are tons of integrations available and they keep adding more over time which makes the platform even more useful.

Cons

Website connection and booking widgets

Pros

Connecting it to my website was very easy and the booking widgets are simple to copy and paste into the site for scheduling reservations.

Cons

One limitation is that everything has to be fully completed before you can go live.

versatile platform for short stays

Pros

It has been really helpful for managing leads for short term rental guests and handling short term stays. It connects well with a lot of other platforms and integrations which makes it a very flexible and versatile tool overall.

Cons

When it comes to mid term rentals though it hasn't performed nearly as well. The system felt quite complicated to work with in that use case and ended up creating a number of problems.

simple booking management wins

Pros

Setting everything up was easy and it's really simple to manage bookings, keep track of everything and monitor the property remotely.

Cons

Great integrations

Pros

Connecting the calendar with other platforms has been a big advantage. The training, onboarding and customer support have all been fantastic. I also really love their help! The team was incredibly patient and helpful while getting my three properties set up properly.

Cons

The data security setup was harder than it should have been. It wasn't very user friendly and I ended up needing to hire a web developer to point the property URL and white label the site. I also wish there were more branding and white label options in the templates and triggers since changing their overall look and feel is pretty difficult.

Efficient Help

Flexible tools that helped us scale

Pros

From the time we launched our onsite vacation rental service company the software has been a big contributor to our success. Its support team and integrations with key industry tools have made it possible to manage a much larger portfolio efficiently. Being able to use just the parts of the platform we needed while still having the flexibility to expand and add features over time has helped our business grow without needing to hire specialized staff. That flexibility alone has played a major role in helping us stay afloat as we expanded.

Cons

Haven't run into any real issues so far but I would still love to see more competitive pricing when bundling multiple services.
