“Engages in deceptive advertising and scams

Pros

I got absolutely nothing out of this service. They charged me without even publishing my listing for the amount of time I paid for. No successful leads, just a waste of money. I reached out multiple times and every time I was told that my listing would be up but it never was. Completely frustrating!

Cons

The website made it seem like I was paying for 3 months of active listings. I paused my listing for renovations and thought I could resume it later but when I called, they said they could not renew my listing or use the payments I made. I asked for a refund or at least the remaining two months of active listings but they refused. The person I spoke to was rude and disrespectful and now I'm filing a fraud charge with my bank. It's devastating as a small business to lose $600 like that. It's like they just took my money and disappeared.

“Frauds, charges you even after cancellation

Pros

This company is a scam. Do yourself a favor and choose a different company. Buyer beware! They took my money and I never got any leads or results. Avoid at all costs. I have no idea how they are still in business.

Cons

They charge fraudulent fees after canceling and keep calling to upsell their services. This company has become a scam. I have used their services for over 20 years, but they are no longer effective and their marketing program is outdated. Don't waste your time or money with them. They have become so bad at what they do, it's honestly sad to see. I am done with them.

Loved how easy it is to use for both the lister and the searcher. The platform is pretty user-friendly, which is nice.

Cons

Supply can get stale and it's not a reliable one-stop shop for commercial real estate listings. I've found that many properties listed on the site are not available or are way overpriced. It's hard to trust the information when listings are not regularly updated.

I don't have anything positive to say about LoopNet. I would suggest looking into competitors instead.

Their policies are misleading and it's hard to work with them. I received zero leads from my listing. They need to make sure they are delivering on what they promise. I have been extremely disappointed with the lack of support.

“Increased prices drastically, use CREXI instead

Pros

The advertising platform was great during my first year but after that, it really went downhill. The features were fine at first but once I renewed, the performance just wasn't the same.

Cons

Its just that they increased their rates by $50 per month after my one-year term. They did not inform me of the price increase until after my contract expired and they also were not advertising my listings at times when I checked them. They were no help in addressing my concerns either. This has been very frustrating.

They have some great commercial properties available for consideration, which is a plus. It's great for certain types of properties, but not ideal for others.

Cons

The sign in process and account creation are not user-friendly at all. It's not easy to navigate the site and get started.

It provides excellent exposure to the commercial real estate market and gives access to a vast inventory, making it easier to find buyers and sellers. Very helpful for the business. But still, the process of getting listed could be better streamlined to make it more efficient.

The platform is easy to use. Plus I have a client relationship consultant assigned to me who I can actually talk to on the phone, saving me time that would otherwise be spent explaining things over email. It's convenient and I don't have to go through endless emails for a simple request.

Cons

Sometimes the property isn't available in the database so you will have to wait until it gets added by them. It can be frustrating waiting for the right property to show up. They need to do a better job of keeping things updated.

LoopNet is one of the most recognized names in commercial real estate. It's a top resource for finding commercial properties. The listing service is free, but you also have the option to add on premium marketing services. The premium services are what make the difference if you want extra visibility for your listings.

Cons

Listings are only visible to CoStar subscribers unless you pay a high price to advertise your LoopNet listing. Unlike this, many competitors allow you to list your property online for free, making it a more accessible option for those looking for broad visibility.
