“User-friendly modules
Pros
It has been very user-friendly and moving between the different modules is simple. One of the biggest advantages is being able to import entries directly into the general ledger without having to do manual input which saves a lot of time. It also does a really good job of tracking resident details and work orders so it fits what I need very well. On top of that, the initial setup was simple for my team and didn't take much effort to get going.
Cons
I can't think of anything negative about MRI. The reports are simple to run and the support team has been excellent.

“easy to customize
Pros
Being able to customize the platform has been a big plus for us. We can edit system fields and add custom notes which makes it feel tailored to the way our business actually works. The support desk has also been excellent everyone we've dealt with, from the support team to upper management, has been helpful and genuinely willing to go the extra mile whenever needed.
Cons
Some reports can take quite a few clicks to run because you have to go through several different filter screens and drop-downs. The task scheduler does help cut down on that, though.

“Smooth teamwork
Pros
In our organization, one of the biggest advantages is how usable it is across every department. Teams can work together without any issue and the reporting stays consistent and standardized throughout the organization.
Cons
Getting the appropriate level of support can be challenging especially when something urgent comes up. On top of that, consultancy fees often feel too high for work that should reasonably be included as part of normal support.

“clear pricing and helpful support
Pros
When we started, right from implementation, the included setup support made getting started much less overwhelming and helped shorten the learning time. The pricing is transparent and having both online and phone support included is a big plus. Managing data is also quite simple whether that's working with records or filing documents.
Cons
The only real downside for us is the lack of a search function within the document sections. Because of that, you have to manually look through all the documents to find what you need.

Pros
For our operations, uploading bank statements into the system makes it fast to match payments against outstanding rent and moving between screens only takes a single click which keeps everything efficient.
Cons
A downside is that there isn't a clear overall balance view showing what each amount relates to and that makes it harder when reporting back to the client.

When we manage our portfolio, tenant and rent management is laid out really well. Once you spend a little time with it, the system starts to feel pretty easy, whether you're looking up a resident by address or checking different payment types.
Cons
The interface feels a bit old-school since you need to rely on the function keys quite a bit, though the upside is that you don't have to use the mouse or cursor nearly as much.

Exploring this software is simple and it doesn't take long to locate the information you need. The interface is laid out in a way that makes sense so even new users can learn the platform without much frustration. Important details such as property information, financial data and performance metrics are all clearly organized and easy to access which helps users make informed decisions without spending unnecessary time digging through menus or reports.
Cons
Configuring complex billing terms in MRI Property Manager can be difficult. The setup usually means working through several modules and understanding a lot of detailed rules so it can take quite a bit of time and mistakes are easy to make without proper training. Users have mentioned that even minor adjustments to billing structures may require multiple steps which makes the process harder to manage efficiently especially for teams dealing with varied lease agreements or customized payment schedules.

“Efficient tenant management tool
Pros
When I use MRI, it works really well for tenant management, property management and day-to-day operations overall. It covers accounting and batching, supports communications and also connects with other programs through integrations which makes it even more useful.
Cons
There was definitely a bit of difficulty in learning it at the beginning but once you spend some time exploring, it becomes fairly simple to navigate and figure out.

Pros
As our team operates the interface is easy to use and having everything stored in the cloud is really convenient. Being able to access it on mobile is a big plus and it makes end-of-month processing and paying creditors and landlords simple to handle.
Cons
System feels very strict and inflexible, with extra features kept behind a paywall. Online and self-service options are quite limited for agents, landlords and tenants alike. The landlord and tenant portal also looks dated, like it hasn't been updated since 2005. It doesn't support Zapier or webhooks either so there's basically no automation available, even though it does connect with other Australian companies which suggests the API access exists but is restricted.

For my business, one of the biggest advantages of MRI is how flexible and open it is when connecting with other applications and data flows. It also does a great job of handling recurring charge invoicing securely.
Cons
The downside is that individual sections often don't feel fully finished or ready to use out of the box so there's usually some adjustment needed before they work properly.
