Pros
I did not like any part of the process or how the company manages its customer relationships.
Cons
They make you verify your ESA letter multiple times like over 5 only to send an email claiming it is fake, even though it's fully verifiable. Plus they do not even contact your therapist to confirm the letter before labeling it as fake. The customer service is awful too and I find it really frustrating and offensive.

Pros
They provide a reliable and thorough approach to managing pets and support animals by handling any animal related issues with help from their legal team. This takes a lot off the workload for our onsite teams. The online portal is a fantastic resource, with names, photos and descriptions of community animals. Communication from the OPP Team is excellent as it is fast, professional and timely. They have also been extremely helpful and supportive during onboarding for new communities.
Cons
Some team members felt there was too much communication but the team listened to feedback and adjusted the frequency of follow up emails to better suit our teams preferences. This made the process more comfortable for everyone.

Pros
The support from the OurPet Policy team is outstanding making things easy and ensuring everything stays compliant.
Cons
I cannot think of any downsides, its a much more comprehensive program compared to competitors.

Pros
The system is pretty easy to navigate and the onboarding process was really helpful. The team is fantastic too as they respond quickly and very friendly people!
Cons
No complaints about the system from our side. However some residents had difficulty filling out the application because there are a few steps involved.

They are very thorough when reviewing ESA documents and professional in pushing back when necessary. Communication is great too keeping me informed about the status of the process and response times are fast.

“Say no to ESA cheats and protect your rentals!
Pros
Ive recommended this service to several property managers and rental owners. A lot of us are frustrated with the lack of accountability for fake service dog owners. We want to support people who genuinely need a trained service animal by helping them find a good rental, while also discouraging those who abuse the system and cause damage to our properties. A big thanks to the entire OurPetPolicy team for helping us achieve this!
Cons
It does discourage some good pet owners as they are not willing to jump through the hoops. Usually I can work with them but sometimes they back out. I wish there was a simpler version as opposed to the full version. So it would be nice if we could choose which version our tenants need to follow for online training.

They are very efficient and a pleasure to work with. They save our leasing department a huge amount of time by managing all the pet applications and profiles and also keep those records updated throughout the tenant's lease.
Cons
I wouldnt really call this a major con, but its worth mentioning. You just need to make sure all relevant parties are included in the email correspondence based on the portfolio list. Since we have many managers and leasing agents, we occasionally need to give gentle reminders if someones left out. That said, its not a big issue for us because OPP resolves it quickly whenever it happens.
