“I had a great time using it
Pros
I have had a good experience with the software so far! I only use some of the functions right now, but it really helps me keep track of properties, maintenance, and leases. I especially like that it alerts me ahead of time when leases are about to expire.
Cons
Sometimes I have trouble moving tenants out in the system. I notice this mostly in non standard situations, like when not all roommates move out at the same time.

“Amazing tool and team
Pros
Still learning the system but I really like the displays for each tenant. The ledger view is my favorite display. The rent reminders for tenants are a great feature. The support team is the biggest plus for me. It's nice to have all the help you need to learn how to use the program properly.
Cons
So far I have no problems as I'm still in the learning phase.

“Leading software for rental management
Pros
As the owner of a management company with a small portfolio of rental properties, usually between 10 and 15 units, this software was easy to set up and makes managing rentals very straightforward. It has everything you need to run a smooth rental business, from accepting applications to managing move in and move out processes, and keeping track of rent payments. Their chat support is really helpful when I run into issues. I was worried about expensive software on the market but then I found Renter Insight. I definitely recommend it for medium and smaller landlords. The pricing is quite low compared to bigger competitors like Buildium, AppFolio and DoorLoop, who all have high minimum buy ins.
Cons
None at all!! I really don't have anything negative to say about the software or the company's customer service department. Renter Insight is easy to manage and affordable for small businesses.

“Excellent for collecting rent, just need to be a bit user friendly
Pros
I find it easy to collect rent payments and we have a dedicated support person for our account. It also has the added ability to report maintenance issues, although this feature could be improved and expanded further.
Cons
I think the platform isn't as user friendly as it could be. There are many features that are hard to find or use properly.

“It really helped us alottt!
Pros
This tool has cut our annual management costs by around $50000 a year. This software allows us to do all the tasks we used to hire a management company for such as credit applications, tenant screening, security deposits, payments, maintenance requests, billing, credits and accounting. After working with our previous management company for five years, we realized we were paying fees for analogue services that this software easily handles. Our rental units were profitable before but Renter Insight has created value that directly benefits our bottom line. The team at Renter Insight is knowledgeable, responsive and very helpful. All of my questions have been answered within the same business day.
Cons
I dislike nothing about Renter Insight. I really feel very grateful to have found this software.

Pros
I appreciate that tenants can also access the portal to view what they owe, make payments online and submit maintenance requests. Having everything located in one place really simplifies the management process.
Cons
The lease tracking can be confusing. I would prefer a continuous tenant ledger instead of separate ones by lease, which would make the renewal process easier.

Pros
Loved how simple the system is without sacrificing functionality or features. It seems to be intelligently designed to meet the needs typical rental companies have. Also their customer service has been beyond impressive. Every time we had questions, the response time was immediate.
Cons
I have nothing much negative to say. I would just recommend that everyone who will be using the system attends the initial training.

Ease of use is great!!! Tenant payment options work well, with auto ACH and good tracking of tenant payments. Online communication and customer service are fantastic.
Cons
I think it would be helpful to have color coding like green for paid, yellow for late and red for past due.
