“Very basic product with limited options

Pros

Honestly there is nothing much good to say as it is just a very limited software overall.

Cons

There are some real limitations, also the customer service is not great and I have even seen unauthorized charges show up on the landlord's account which is very frustrating.

“Awesome software for collecting rent

Pros

Schedule My Rent makes managing rent collection really simple especially for big commercial properties. We also love how the interface is user friendly, letting us easily check each unit's status and add extra fees when needed. Plus being able to accept rent payments through MoneyGram (cash) is a huge bonus for us. Overall it has everything a landlord needs to collect rent and keep track of their property's finances without breaking the bank.

Cons

Right now landlords have to invite tenants to create their Schedule My Rent accounts which can make the setup a bit confusing at first. Also the software does not let us upload important documents like leases or utility bills linked to tenant profiles. Plus there is no easy way to download invoices that detail service fees per transaction.

“Great product!

Pros

I find this software quite efficient and easy to use. Plus it adapts well as our business processes change and it keeps up with improvements and new procedures we put in place over time.

Cons

Sometimes the columns in the Unit View are tricky and confusing to interpret when checking account statuses. Luckily we can customize which columns show or hide which helps make it clearer.

“Made my life as a property manager way easier

Pros

One feature I really like is how rent payments can be directed straight into different property owners accounts which gives us good control over the flow of funds.

Cons

The expense tracking features don't really work well for how I run my business.

“User-friendly and saves time

Pros

The built-in application, background and credit check functions were a lifesaver. Before I had to handle all that manually and charge prospective tenants a fee while using another service. With Schedule My Rent the cost is automatically collected from tenants which makes screening much simpler on my end.

Cons

Though the website and software are user-friendly and fairly easy to get around still I would love it more if they made an iPhone app in the near future.
