“By Far the Worst Customer Service I have Ever Received
Pros
Frankly, I didn't find a single redeeming quality in this software. Any positive features it may have had were completely overshadowed by the complete lack of customer service.
Cons
The customer service is absolutely terrible. I was repeatedly lied to, asked to fill out forms, sent on wild goose chases, and each person I spoke to told me something different. I waited 33 days for a response when I tried to cancel the product, which put us past the required notice period, and we ended up paying for this terrible software for another year. Oh, and if a tenant's payment bounces? Forget it, Zego won't notify you until two weeks later, by which time they are already two months behind on rent, and you've suffered significant financial loss.

The real-time integration with Rent Manager is superb, and the platform offers extensive customization options to suit every owner and management company. The customer support and onboarding team are the best.

Pros
This app allows us to promptly and efficiently communicate with our residents. Messages are sent out quickly, and we can reply to residents just as we would in an email. It's easy, simple and efficient.
Cons
I don't really have many complaints because this app is designed to be seamless, and there's not much to criticize.

“PayLease switch to Zego tanked customer service
Pros
Despite lengthy loading times, the website is mostly functional.
Cons
If you ever need to adjust a scanned check, good luck. They never increase checks to the correct amount, only reduce them. It's up to you to figure out if a check was scanned for a lower amount. However, if a check is overstated, they adjust it immediately. Unfortunately, it takes months for adjustments to be processed, resulting in ongoing journal entries for bank reconciliations.

Our leasing company uses Paylease to accept credit card payments, and we love that our residents have the flexibility to choose their preferred payment method.
Cons
Paylease charges both residents and the leasing office to use their product. It would be better if they had a single flat fee for both parties.

“Payleases is very helpful, but not without issues
Pros
I'm thrilled that we can now offer our residents the convenience of online payment options. It's effortless for them to set up either recurring or one-time payments. Additionally, we utilize the software to process on-site checks, eliminating the need for staff to make frequent bank runs.
Cons
Paylease still has a few issues to iron out, particularly concerning its integration with our Resman software. Occasionally, a batch of transactions will be posted twice to the bank account, requiring us to delete the correct one to avoid discrepancies in the account total. There are also instances where returned checks are processed in their system but fail to update the resident's account. Consequently, we have to manually correct the account.

The user interface is incredibly intuitive, and it efficiently keeps track of all payments. There's no need to worry about finding alternative ways to manage payments.
Cons
My only complaint is that in addition to keeping track of payments, there's an extra fee for making online payments. I dislike having to pay additional money.
