I'm a big fan of the fixed automatic payment feature. I have my elderly tenants enrolled, and they absolutely love it.

Cons

Occasionally, when I try to block someone, I have to repeat the process multiple times before it actually blocks them.

Pros

The autopay function is fantastic, and tenants can conveniently set up payments through our company software on the tenant portal.

Cons

Great Resource with Room to Improve

Pros

I'm grateful for how the app streamlines the procedure of sharing and gathering RSVPs for resident events. The messaging feature also makes it exceptionally convenient to interact with residents. I'm writing this review as a member of the Zego Champions rewards program.

Cons

Run don't walk to Zego's suite of products.

Pros

Throughout my years of using various Zego products and features, one thing has always stood out how much they value customer input to drive product initiatives.

Cons

Using an integrated product instead of a single stack solution comes with its own set of challenges. If something goes wrong, troubleshooting can become more complicated due to the separation of products.

Big fan of Zego

Pros

Zego has made our lives easier by providing residents with a platform to pay rent online. We've recently started using Cashpay, which has been awesome. We no longer accept money orders; instead, residents use Cashpay, and the funds go directly into their accounts. No more scanner issues that cause bank errors!

Cons

The only downside is when my bosses are reluctant to implement another one of their programs!

Great product with smooth integration!

Pros

Tracking payments and managing returned payments has become a unproblematic with Zego. The integration with Rent Manager means minimal effort on my part to keep track of rental accounts.

Cons

At times, it can be a bit tricky to reach customer service.

They Are Part Of Our Team

Pros

Zego is amazing as it handles all our payment processing, billing, and even submetering for all six of our apartment communities, totaling roughly 2,000 units. We used to handle utility billing in-house, thinking we were saving money. However, Zego audited our bills and found ways to save us money and bill our residents more efficiently. Now we're making more money, and I have more time to address important resident-related matters.

Cons

The reporting for the submetering system is not accurate when it comes to determining which transmitters require new batteries or replacement. I would recommend using the software that comes with your devices to manage that. In our case, we use NextCentury's portal for determining which devices need attention.

If you use Zego as a standalone solution, I definitely recommend it. However, with the Rent Manager integration, things can get a bit confusing, especially regarding reports.

Cons

There is a hidden clause in the agreement that automatically renews it unless you provide a 60-day notice. That's the only drawback, although it might not be significant to many readers.
