“Awful support and constant crashes”
Pros
ONLY when it is functioning properly it becomes simple to use. The interface has improved a bit and most major problems seem to have some kind of workaround.
Cons
I don't even know where to begin.Their customer support is possibly the worst I've dealt with in the tech industry. Ever since Covid began I have called their support line countless times and not once has anyone answered. I keep running into problems in different parts of the app and they won't even bother getting back to me. To make it worse, the help button with the question mark has been showing "Something went wrong" for the past 5 months. I've even received replies from their team saying things like, "You are not a big enough account for us to help," and when I asked about negative reviews, I got, "Haters gonna Hate." We've been using Bindo for more than 5 years and it has done a terrible job tracking our inventory. Counts are completely inconsistent-items sold 4 years ago still appear in stock while products received this week show up as negative quantities. Credit card processing is another major problem. Lately, at least once a day, the software crashes during a card transaction, charges the customer anyway and then shows the payment as unpaid in the POS app. I also constantly deal with transactions being marked as partial payments for absolutely no reason. The app crashes over the smallest things too, whether I'm deleting a number while entering a card manually, changing our menu setup or simply swiping a card. Bindo crashes all the time. At least they finally updated the system to save open tabs because before that change we would lose 15 to 30 tabs every single time it went down.

“works for basic admission counts”
Pros
When it came to simply keeping track of how many people came through our admissions side, the system did the job well enough.
Cons
There were honestly too many problems to list: 1) customer service was terrible and it could take days or even weeks to get a response to questions, 2) the system itself was messy to work with and ran into issues in all kinds of different ways and 3) they would roll out random updates with major functionality changes without explaining them ahead of time.

“handy dashboard access”
Pros
Getting around the system is pretty simple and the dashboard is a nice touch since I can sign in anytime from whatever device I'm using.
Cons
One part is frustrating though-if you need to back out of an order, the system won't let you do it unless a manager approves it first.

“fast card processing on ipad”
Pros
Everything runs quickly and the card processor works really well. It's simple to use and the free trial is a nice way to test things before committing. Using it on my iPad also makes the whole experience more enjoyable.
Cons
The customer support team can be a bit slow to respond but they do know what they're doing and usually help in the end.

“constant freezes and lost sales”
Pros
At first glance, the interface looks modern and it gives the impression that it should be simple to use and user-friendly.
Cons
Contrary to its simple appearance, running a restaurant with this software has been an absolute nightmare. It freezes constantly, the data is inaccurate and kitchen tickets either do not print at all or print multiple times which leads to wasted food. The moment things get even a little busy, the app locks up. My staff regularly had to return to customers and ask again what they ordered. There is basically no real support. This app is total garbage and honestly, anyone rating it higher than one star feels questionable, just like the app itself. I have stayed with it for 2 years only because I signed a contract and was stuck. As a small business owner, it is not always possible to afford paying for two systems at once. When I first opened, they promised a long list of things they would provide because support was lacking but as soon as the restaurant opened, tickets started pouring into the kitchen incorrectly and wasted our product. We lost a lot of sales because frustrated customers could not even pay their bills. I often had to comp meals or people would simply walk out because of Bindo's system. Whenever I emailed Bindo about these issues, nothing was ever truly resolved. They would just tell us to update the app and after doing that, we would end up dealing with 10 new problems. I genuinely feel bad for my employees. One server with 10 years of experience told me she had never been as stressed in a serving job as she was at my restaurant using Bindo. Please be careful and do not sign up for Bindo.

“Positive experience with support team”
Pros
Their customer service has been the part that impressed me most. Since they're a smaller company, I was usually able to get in touch with the same couple of people which made things feel more personal. Anytime I had a question, they responded quickly. Once the POS was set up, it was very simple to run. I also brought it along to a few shows we did and it worked without any issues at all.
Cons
Problems I ran into were tied to syncing with WooCommerce. There were times when an item wouldn't import properly and products with variations were not always handled the right way. The good part was that support could usually fix most of it if I called. I also had some random products duplicate themselves in the inventory after one sold. When that happened, I would delete the extras and double-check the inventory count.

“customizable for multiple locations”
Pros
Having a POS system that can be tailored this much has been a big plus. We run several different retail locations at the camp where I work and it helps a lot to keep everything organized and set up differently for each location based on what we need.
Cons
This POS seems to run into bugs pretty regularly. I understand some issues are normal with software but it feels a little more frequent than it should be. On top of that, Bindo hasn't always been especially helpful when these problems come up.

“slow fixes and update issues”
Pros
They respond quickly but that's about all I can really say. It's very simple to get out of the contract and they're easy to talk to when you need someone.
Cons
Issues with the POS don't get handled fast enough. Whenever Apple rolls out a software update, Bindo never seems prepared for it in time.

“Not recommended!”
Pros
One useful part of is that payments are built directly into the POS so there's usually no need for a separate processor other than American Express. The software itself also isn't hard to pick up and learn.
Cons
Most of the issue were with decimal-quantity inventory. Email receipts do not always display the right quantities on POS sales or invoices and they get rounded up or down unpredictably. Sometimes they are accurate and other times they are not. Orders that stay on hold for more than two hours can disappear from the system. The POS receipt screen also occasionally shows the wrong payment amount which is frustrating when a customer sees a total that looks double what they expected. When that happens, I have to reopen the order and show them the actual amount charged to their credit card. Embedded barcodes only scan from the menu screen and do not work from the library, item code or invoice screens. Invoices with decimal quantities can only be fully fulfilled through the iOS app while the payment can only be fully completed through the web browser back office. If it is not handled that exact way, both parts end up only partially completed. On top of that, changing invoice prices makes the invoice show a total of zero in the invoice list. If a purchase order payment status is saved as N/A, every item in that order gets deleted.

“Works fine even without internet”
Pros
Even when the internet goes down, it keeps working which makes it very dependable. That has been especially helpful in areas like mine where outages happen from time to time.
Cons
I really don't have anything negative to say about it. However I'd suggest is adding self-help support videos so I can learn more and explore the software further.

“Good tool for my business”
Pros
Since I already use an iPad, this setup has been a really good fit for me. I may be a little biased because of that but it works extremely well with my device. I connected a scanner, cash drawer, credit card reader and receipt printer and everything works together nicely. It also integrates well with my QuickBooks which is a big plus. On top of that there's free customer support and it can handle other mobile payment options as well as online payments.
Cons
I haven't come across any issues with the software. The only thing I didn't care for was the included iPad stand but nothing is ever absolutely perfect.

“Efficient software”
Pros
Using it has been really beneficial for day-to-day work and it makes tasks much easier for everyone. The software is effective overall and the response time is very fast.
Cons
Most of the features are useful for all users but there are still a few in the software that not everyone understands easily.

“packed with outstanding features”
Pros
It was obvious from the beginning that this software is absolutely loaded with features-and I mean a lot of them. The free trial was the biggest win for me and honestly, that alone was enough to get me interested. After using it, they definitely earned my business.
Cons
There's nothing I dislike about this tool other than the obvious joke that I actually have to pay for it haha. Honestly it feels like one of the best options out there, easily in the top 5% of software in my opinion.

“simle to use”
Pros
Learning this system felt even easier than using an iPhone which says a lot because even I had no trouble figuring it out. The pricing plans were clear, simple and upfront, with no unexpected charges.
Cons
Activation fee didn't thrill me at first although I ended up understanding the reason for it. Also, phone support wasn't consistently available 24/7 and that could definitely be a downside for some people.

“Easy to customize”
Pros
Compared with the other products I reviewed, this one offers more customization which was a big plus. It also seems like they will keep improving and developing the product over time. One thing I really appreciated is that they can manage about 90% of the features remotely through the web interface. It also syncs with QBO which is a huge benefit and I'm told it can sync all the way down to the invoice level although I haven't finished setting up that integration yet. Another advantage is being able to use it in offline mode. It is also fairly universal when it comes to hardware compatibility. The fact that they offer a live demo was a nice bonus too.
Cons
Payment integration is not quite as connected as I would want it to be. It can send totals over to a third-party card reader but it is not fully integrated. That is not a major issue since it still works fine but it is worth mentioning. I also feel their support team is a bit understaffed. From what I can tell, they are still a growing company so hopefully that improves with time. To be fair, issues do get resolved. I just prefer things to move faster and probably have higher expectations there. I'm also not very satisfied with the reporting. There are several reports available but at the very least there should be a Z Report.

“Crashes during transactions”
Pros
The POS is easy to use and generally works just well.
Cons
The biggest problem is that it is prone to crashing during transactions which severely impacts reliability. Right in the middle of a sale the iPad can suddenly shut down and I have to reboot it or it just freezes during a transaction.

Pros
Getting started with it was simple and training other employees has been simple too. It also works really well for us when using it alongside our online store.
