“User-friendly booking tool”
Pros
The app is fairly easy to use and lets me quickly check things from my phone.
Cons
I have noticed occasional glitches and some tasks do not work reliably through the app. And when these issues come up they are not fixed quickly.

“Definitely made for spa businesses”
Pros
It makes it really easy to access everything on my phone and it is quite user friendly too.
Cons
Booker has worked really well in the spa setting. So at this point I am not sure what could be improved.

“Avoid upgrading to version 2”
Pros
I love how easy it is to run reports, onboard employees, set up security levels and schedule appointments with it.
Cons
After switching to Booker v2, it became completely unusable. It kept freezing, I could not check out clients without it crashing and past transactions were hard to access. I would say version 2 was a total disaster and we were told we could not go back to version 1. The result of it is that we ended up losing all that data and ease of use.

“Decent software for RMTs”
Pros
The online booking and e-commerce options are awesome. Also I find it really easy to navigate and their customer support is very responsive.
Cons
The price is way to high and it lacks built in clinic insurance or client record management. Plus it does not integrate with Moneris unless I pay extra for a third-party gateway.

“Good tool, high price tag”
Pros
It has a lot of different yet useful features including marketing tools and detailed reports. It is very thorough and I like working with it.
Cons
Not affordable at all as the prices are very high around $350 per month. Plus the 3.5% fee and a few extra cents in flat fees on top. So if you are running a small business, I would not recommend it to you.

“It's easy to book, just wish schedule settings were better”
Pros
They send email notifications for every new appointment which makes it easy to for us to stay on top of client bookings.
Cons
The practitioner scheduling could definitely use some improvement, especially when it comes to customization. Also we could not set up a bi-weekly schedule for practitioners so we had to input it manually every week which takes a lot of time.

“There are some limitations”
Pros
Booker software is way more capable than what we used before. It integrates client management, scheduling and POS, all in one.
Cons
Dealing with its reps is like a nightmare. They do not seem genuine and often give us the runaround. Also there is a lot of turnover in the company. And they are really pushy with their additional services like Reach and Classpass but neither are worth it.

“Used to be great, not anymore”
Pros
Thanks to Booker as now I can easily see client data, calendar views, appointment reminders and everything is stored in the cloud.
Cons
I have had trouble accessing my client data. And the wording during setup made the software more of a problem than a solution. Also it kept blocking our clients from booking the available appointments I wanted to fill. I even find tracking membership usage really difficult.

“It is glitchy”
Pros
I get text confirmations and reminders plus the online booking feature is so easy to use too.
Cons
The customer appointment history is glitchy and sometimes does not display the history or notes when I need it the most.

“You can find better deals out there”
Pros
They have an awesome system for booking a couple of massages. But that's about it!
Cons
There are a lot of issues like being locked into a contract. Even when the system was not working for us, we could not downgrade. In short they really make it hard to cancel or downgrade.

“Very simple, maybe too much”
Pros
At first everything felt like it was coming together with modules like campaigns, contacts, SMS, scheduling and automation. But once I got deeper into it, it became a bit of a mess.
Cons
So many problems such as the features crash, the modules being outdated and it lacks basic features, all while advertising itself as a marketing automation tool. I also find the customer support pretty unhelpful.

“Loaded with features, but half are useless”
Pros
I really liked how easy the appointment booking system is to use and it works perfectly without any issues.
Cons
Using it for over 7 years. It is quite flawed and has a lot of bugs that I have no idea when will get fixed.

“Crashes often and they ignore feedback”
Pros
Booker seemed to offer a lot of great features especially for marketing. However nothing worked the best for us.
Cons
It has so much downtime that it has affected my small business's revenue as I could not book clients. Also it made the client experience worse when booking online. Because of all this I am switching to a new platform but the worst thing is that it won't let me cancel my subscription. It is honestly outdated and has annoying subscription practices.

“this thing frustrates me daily”
Pros
It is an all in one solution that manages quite a lot for us from employee schedules to bookings online and in person, services, retail and even point of sale transactions.
Cons
Booker is full of confusing bugs that never get fixed for example it auto filling the last viewed client when finding the next available appointment or not letting you add products to $0 services booked online. Plus the servers go down often, the mobile app is poor, the payment processor integration is a mess and it is way too difficult to learn. Also it lacks some basic functionalities like marking doctor services as non-tippable, adding notes to client tickets or changing service subcategory names. Even though customer service is responsive but cannot offer any real help. I use this software for 8 hours a day, 6 days a week and I absolutely hate it.

“Feels like a total scam”
Pros
The software tracks which rooms are available for services and the items needed for each service. They even have a new AI receptionist feature for online bookings which is why I switched. But honestly, none of the features work well and the credit card processing is always down. I regret making the switch especially since they misrepresented how the software worked to get me to sign up.
Cons
The sales team is great but once you sign the contract, customer service become non existant. They do not seem to care about the software issues even if they are obvious. Such as credit card processing which is very important for any business does not work properly and it has not been fixed for years. It feels like they do not seem to care to do anything about it.

“Easy enough even for a little kid”
Pros
All the features make sense and I have noticed that as Booker updates and improves, it just keeps getting better.
Cons
Yes the updates do help but they are constant. Some updates don't feel even feel necessary. I used to like it when the options just popped up but now I have to do an extra step to add them.
