“Top-notch support team”
Pros
After 25 years in the business this is some of the best customer support I've dealt with. The manager portal is also easy to explore.
Cons
The cash handling process can feel difficult and a bit confusing depending on the type of business you run. Thankfully 99% of our transactions are by credit card or tap to pay so it doesn't affect us much.

“Handy manager app”
Pros
Using the manager app from my own devices has been really convenient and the overall setup is very user-friendly. Customer support has been excellent as well, with a team that responds quickly and is always helpful.
Cons
A couple of reporting areas could use some improvements, though those are more tied to our particular needs and revenue streams.

“fantastic support from the team”
Pros
Customer support has been better than with any other system we use. One of the biggest advantages is being able to update pricing or menu wording in real time.
Cons
If I had to be picky the initial learning phase is a bit challenging because the system is so detailed but it doesn't take long to get comfortable with it. Once you do it gives you a lot of flexibility to customize things.

“helpful clear reporting”
Pros
The support team responds quickly and is genuinely helpful any time we need assistance. Menu management is easy and the reports are simple to pull up and understand. Overall it's a really strong system for running a food hall with multiple operators.
Cons
One inconvenience is that the printer connections need an onboarding specialist to get everything set up. That can turn into a problem if no one is available during a busy shift so it takes some advance planning. Also, the ordering platform layout gets a bit difficult to navigate when you have 20+ restaurants all in one place.

“They keep upgrading”
Pros
What really stands out with GoTab is how committed they are to continuously improving both their software and hardware. They worked closely with us on upgrades and that has helped us deliver an outstanding experience to our customers.
Cons
There were definitely a few growing pains when it came to integrations. That said their team responds fast and genuinely works to turn issues into workable solutions.

“Efficient tool”
Pros
Its biggest strength is how flexible it is while still putting the guest experience first. From a consultant's point of view, it addresses real operational pain points by cutting down ordering friction, speeding up service and giving restaurants multiple ways to serve guests whether through mobile ordering, QR codes or counter service. I've recommended it across a range of concepts and it has consistently worked well in high-volume, fast-casual, brewery and hybrid-service settings. Another big advantage is that it fits into existing operations without forcing operators to completely redesign how their concept works which makes it a strong option.
Cons
As with most powerful systems the initial setup comes with a bit of learning difficulty especially for operators who want to use all of the customization features. Still that feels more like the tradeoff of having a stable platform than a true downside-once everything is set up correctly, it runs efficiently and provides great long-term value.

“Best POS support”
Pros
From our very first interaction, the sales process was fantastic. The support team has been incredible and the POS really feels best in class. It's fast, efficient, helps save on labor and the self-service guest tabs have been a huge plus.
Cons
I'm honestly still trying to come up with a downside. It really has been an amazing experience and I'm always recommending it to nearby businesses to give it a try.

“Perfect fit for brewery taprooms”
Pros
Running a small brewery with this POS has been a really good experience. It's one of the most user-friendly and adaptable systems I've used and it handles both bar service and food sales without piling on the cost or unnecessary complexity that comes with some older platforms.
Cons
If your business leans much more toward food, there are stronger options available. This is mostly a downside for full-service restaurants that sell very little alcohol.

“Boosts our revenue”
Pros
Very easy for us to use and it helps grow F&B revenue while letting service staff spend more time focusing on the customer experience.
Cons
It still needs broader integration with major brands but aside from that, it is a really valuable opportunity for us in the industry.

“great customer support”
Pros
Using it has been such a positive experience for us. The platform is very user-friendly, their support team is amazing and the integrations they provide are really impressive.
Cons
Truthfully I don't have any complaints about working with GoTab. They have been supportive and consistent throughout and we've truly appreciated the relationship we've built with them.

“Multi-vendor ordering done right”
Pros
This works brilliantly for food markets. We were able to configure it so guests can place one digital order across multiple vendors at the same time. The API is excellent to work with as well and it lets tools like Tenzo plug in smoothly for reporting.
Cons
There really haven't been any major downsides. The onboarding team and support have both been excellent and I can't think of anything they should have handled better.

“Feature rich tool”
Pros
From everything we've seen in demos and feature walkthroughs, this product has performed really well even though I haven't used it directly yet. It looks like a great solution. The biggest plus is how smooth it seems for operators especially on the back-of-house side. Being able to mark items as out of stock right from the kitchen and communicate with customers in real time feels like a real game changer.
Cons
As of now, I don't have any specific negatives to mention since we haven't had direct hands-on experience yet. Still, based on what we've reviewed so far, the POS looks feature-rich and we haven't noticed any obvious gaps.

“Outstanding support team”
Pros
This tool really feels like a restaurant tech company that understands the industry it serves. The implementation process is better than what I usually see in this space, the pricing makes sense for how much flexibility operators get based on their specific setup and the customer support has been outstanding. It's one of my favorite systems to recommend because they adapt to what an operation actually needs and do it creatively, instead of taking the usual competitor approach of saying, "this is what we offer, take it or leave it and if you want xyz, that costs extra."
Cons
Honestly the only thing I'd even call a downside with GoTab is that they do not seem to hire very often though I would not really frame that as a bad thing. More than anything, I just want to see them grow alongside the industry so they do not end up stretched too thin once more people catch on to how good they are.

“offers quick service”
Pros
Using the product at Brooklyn Brewery, the speed really stood out. It sent our order straight to the staff almost instantly and our beer showed up what felt like just seconds later.
Cons
My only real downside is that I still enjoy places that offer a printed menu. It adds a certain charm and gives the brand a fun way to show off its personality.
