“Great for scheduling and reminders
Pros
What I really like about MyTime is how accurate it is when reminding me about my schedules and daily agendas. Since I am the type of person who often forgets my plans, this app has been a huge help.
Cons
Right now there is nothing I would like to change. I am happy with the app since it is affordable compared to others, and it's very accurate with scheduling.

“Great for small businesses
Pros
It layers over our website which allows people to easily book appointments even during off hours. Plus it saves customer information which helps us a lot with remarketing.
Cons
We have to use their credit card processor which is a major con and managing disputes is also quite difficult.

“Think twice before using it
Pros
The calendar is the standout feature for me but that's about it. They offer other features that could be useful but they require an upgrade from an already way too expensive program.
Cons
The customer facing booking page is fine but creating and organizing services is difficult. Also they charge extra for features that should be included which makes it feel like they nickel and dime you. Plus I cannot reach any decision makers but only a small team of customer service reps.

“Management is unprofessional
Pros
MyTime desktop version was okay to use and some of the management reports have some value. But honestly I do not like it.
Cons
I feel like the speed, lack of responsiveness and overall stability of the mobile app really hurt our business. Also the representative was unprofessional and only seemed focused on transactions not building long-term relationships.

“Not happy with it, they are very unprofessional

It is a POS system that our franchisor required us to use not our choice.
Cons
The team is completely unprofessional. The onboarding specialist was incompetent and had trouble scheduling our first meeting. Also the system had many errors and was very glitchy. Customer service was terrible and when we tried to troubleshoot, they booked fake appointments, blocking off my stylists availability and costing them customers. They kept charging me even after I canceled the service. Leadership does not seem interested in improving anything. It feels like a borderline scam. I would have switched but the franchisor required us to use them.

“Cancellation policy is not clear
Pros
There were some good things about it but the bad parts outweighed the good. So yes I have nothing good to say about the working features. What mattered most to me was being able to cancel whenever I needed to.
Cons
I used it for several years and the contract automatically renews. But if I wanted to cancel, I could only do it during the one month each year when I originally joined. Also it forces you to keep paying for their software even if you no longer need it. The integrations are not worth using either.

“Doesn't keep their promises
Pros
The customer facing side is decent. Plus the company claimed to have a strong relationship with Google for Google bookings but that was definitely not true. Google has recommended several times that we stop using MyTime. The credit card processing through Tsys has been fine but that's more about the processor than MyTime itself.
Cons
Their support team is worse. There is no accountability and also it is very expensive. Plus there is no backup plan if the website goes down.

It is easy to use, great for scheduling, checking clients in and out and the communication feature works really well for us.
Cons
The only issue is that our pay week starts on Monday while MyTime starts on Sunday.

“I did not like the booking system
Pros
Well I really like the automated alerts for customers about their upcoming appointments the next day. Also it is great that I can disable online booking for customers.
Cons
The technology feels really outdated. There are no alert icons or indications when multiple pets from the same owner are expected. The same problem occurs at checkout when there are multiple pets. It also takes too long for customers to book while I am following up on manually entered notes in Pet Profiles. Retail POS items also have issues especially with processing returns.

Cons
Well I feel like it would be helpful to have time stamps on notes, easier tracking of packages and an option to extend expiration dates.

It is quite user-friendly, easy to set up and does the job well. I especially like the two way texting feature.
Cons
I think it is a bit costly compared to other options and the pricing structure feels like they are charging for every little thing. Also there are features that should be included in the base price, like online payment collection which requires the full point of sale system. And the basic reminder emails and texts should be customizable without needing the full marketing suite. The system has some bugs like the calendar not refreshing correctly when switching locations. Plus I wish there were more customization options when creating appointments instead of having to go into each Client or Pet record.

This software is simply the best. It is an online scheduling tool that offers lots of features like staff management, 2 way messaging, point of sale, client management, online bookings and more. Plus it works for businesses of all sizes and let me tell you that you will definitely get good value for your money.
Cons

“Customer support is insanely good
Pros
MyTime is not just for scheduling it even handles everything related to managing a business including employee timesheets, customer communications, online marketing and sales tracking. Also the mobile app and syncing with Google Calendar are important and beneficial. The discount and promo code features are great too and I love the marketing automation.
Cons
It would be great to be able to make notes per session and client rather than just one long list of notes. And as a small start up, cost is our biggest concern. It is about twice as expensive as some of the competitors. I understand that the services it offers likely make it worthwhile, though and we will keep an eye on it as part of our growth model.
