“Integrates naturally into Shopware environments”

Pros

Pickware feels like a very compelling ERP option for retailers that are deeply rooted in the Shopware ecosystem. One thing we really value is how directly the ERP, inventory management, warehouse workflows and POS are built into the online store. That removes the need for complicated interfaces between the shop and the ERP so projects are made stable. In our most recent project we were able to roll out both the full ERP setup and the POS system with Pickware. The entire process chain from orders to warehousing and shipping all the way to in-store sales works together smoothly. That is a huge benefit for retailers running an omnichannel model with both an online shop and physical locations. From an agency standpoint, implementation is also very simple since it connects well with Shopware and already supports many standard retail processes out of the box.

Cons

It is very closely tied to the Shopware ecosystem. If a retailer has extremely complex ERP demands or needs to represent highly customized business processes, a specialized external ERP solution may provide more flexibility. It also helps a lot to have clearly structured processes in place because Pickware delivers the best results when retailers are open to adjusting certain parts of their workflow to fit the system's existing logic.

“reliable POS backed by an excellent support team”

Pros

I'm very happy with it. Anyone searching for a dependable, up-to-date cash register system can confidently put this one on the shortlist. Three things really won us over. First, the interface is extremely simple to use. Everything is laid out clearly and logically so you can get started right away without digging through long instructions. Onboarding new staff takes hardly any time because the menus are self-explanatory and make sense from the start. Second, the support is excellent and fast. If something comes up during the workday, help arrives quickly. Their customer service is easy to contact and the team is both friendly and knowledgeable. They respond right away and are very capable. Third, the pricing is fair and transparent. Compared to many other vendors there are no hidden charges or nasty surprises. The cost structure is clear from the beginning and simple to understand.

Cons

We did have occasional connection dropouts with the Bluetooth scanner but a software update and support were able to resolve the issue.

“very proactive support”

Pros

It delivers on good quality customer support. I can tell the team actually thinks things through with me and takes the time to help even when the issue is more complicated. A few people on the support side especially deserve credit because they genuinely go the extra mile to find solutions. I was also pleasantly surprised that the help isn't only reactive. Someone checks in proactively as well to ask how things are going and whether everything is working as it should. That's far from standard in the SaaS world and as a retailer with a full schedule it makes a noticeable difference to me.

Cons

The pricing around additional devices feels out of proportion to me. There are only a handful of days each year when I need multiple devices at the same time yet I still have to pay for a full additional month because of that. A more flexible short-term license option would be much fairer and is something that really should be reconsidered. Another point is the very frequent updates. On one hand it's positive because it shows they are continuously improving and refining the system. On the other hand I would prefer if updates were grouped together more and released less often since every update takes time and interrupts the workflow a bit.

“Efficient inventory management”

Pros

Running it in a retail setup with our own warehouse has been a really strong fit. This is where the system performs best with useful tools for inventory management, demand planning and order picking all working together well. It also now covers expiration date and batch management which is a valuable addition. Another big plus is the support team: you can call and get knowledgeable help or send an email and usually receive a fast, helpful reply, often the very same day which deserves real praise. With that level of support and the thorough documentation, we can definitely recommend Pickware.

Cons

A few functions are still missing since the redesign for Shopware 6 and Shopify with dropshipping being one of them. We're hoping the features listed on the roadmap will be released soon.

“high-quality assistance every step of the way”

Pros

With this software it never feels like you are just getting standard support tickets handled. I genuienly felt cared for. It was like they truly wanted to build real relationships with their customers. Whether I had questions, uncertainties or very specific issues I felt well-cared for. The entire team was consistently committed, took ownership and actively helped me throughout the process. In some situations they even made things possible that went far beyond what I would normally expect. It is clear they work proactively and are genuinely focused on finding solutions. The internal organization is just as convincing. Responsibilities are clearly defined and the communication within the team is excellent. I noticed this when interrupted calls were reliably returned or someone took charge of more complicated topics and followed them through until everything was resolved. I could genuinely tell the people there are motivated and actually enjoy helping. The intensive support around the go-live phase was my favorite. The team invested an incredible amount of time, effort and care so I never felt left on my own. Technical problems were understood very quickly and then implemented or solved just as quickly. Their response time is also remarkable. Tickets are often answered very quickly sometimes within minutes or at least within a few hours.

Cons

There's nothing I would criticize. All I wish for is that this very high level of service quality and personal support stays exactly as it is over the long term.

“Fast, accurate order processing”

Pros

The WMS app brings a really innovative approach to order picking and the built in control checks make the whole process feel clearly organized, fast and reliable with fewer mistakes. The outstanding support team is a bonus. Whenever something comes up on my end they respond quickly and take the time to work through the issue together until a solution is found.

Cons

Feature changes in updates are not handled well and the process could be improved. When new functionality is added it shouldn't automatically disable an existing feature. Customers should be able to decide for themselves which option they want to use.

“Great warehouse support”

Pros

Pickware works well as a complete solution for POS, inventory management and an online shop. I like that the different applications integrate well with each other and the overall setup feels simple to use.

Cons

Getting new features can take quite a while because they only get prioritized once enough users have requested the same thing.

“Good connectivity between retail modules”

Pros

The biggest advantage is how well Pickware ties the warehouse, shipping and online shop into the processes we already use. It reduces system failures by consolidating the entire order-to-shipping workflow (from picking and packing to label printing and stock sync) into a single, unified system. That makes the overall workflow much more efficient. Day-to-day visibility is also very strong since stock levels order progress and shipping activity can always be monitored. It makes planning easier and helps avoid mistakes in daily operations. I also like that the warehouse handling is practical and fast. The mobile warehouse features and accessible setup help us carry out picking, packing and shipping much faster and in a more organized way.

Cons

It handles standard processes very well. For more specific or customized workflows however we'd appreciate a bit more flexibility. Since everything is so tightly connected, changes require extra coordination and careful planning. That said this does contribute to stable daily operations. In terms of reporting it's a solid feature for most needs but it could go deeper in some areas. For detailed analysis or custom KPIs we still rely on external tools.

“reliable partner for e-commerce”

Pros

We used it as our ERP and WMS for 11 years. It has proven to be a very dependable solution. The close integration with Shopware, the stability in day-to-day operations and the efficiency it adds to our workflows have all been especially valuable to us. From our perspective Pickware is a professional, forward-looking software solution that continues to evolve and keeps up with the needs of a growing e-commerce business. The support team deserves special mention as well as they are personally reachable and highly knowledgeable. One thing we value a lot about this software is the way it keeps improving. In the last two year several features we'd asked for were added, batch tracking and expiration date management being two of them. As a food retailer these features create real benefit for us. We also really appreciate how closely they stay connected to customers. There is ongoing communication where they actively ask about our needs and we genuinely see customer feedback shaping development. That close collaboration makes the product feel very practical and grounded in real business use. Quite often when we contact the team with an idea or a challenge, we find out that a solution already exists or that the feature has already been built.

Cons

The software works well and I have no complaints.

“comes with smooth Shopware integration”

Pros

It works perfectly with Shopware. It made the whole setup feel very well connected. I also thought the support team was outstanding whenever help was needed. In terms of usability I appreciate that the POS system is very user friendly and that sending orders is quick and easy.

Cons

Click & Collect can't be changed later in the checkout process which is inconvenient. Also, handling deposits is more complicated than it should be and the favorites on the POS homepage still can't be customized.

“dynamic interface”

Pros

Using iPods and iPads gives employees a more playful and engaging way to work with the ERP system. Feature requests are also implemented fairly quickly which has been a real plus.

Cons

Bugs do still show up from time to time. That has been especially noticeable for us because we're still working with iPod Touch devices instead of iPhones running the WMS app.

“very reliable support”

Pros

The best part for us has been the support team which has always been available whenever we needed help. We ran into a few setup issues with the DHL plugin, reached out to support and got a solution back pretty quickly. Many thanks for that!

Cons

We're completely satisfied.

“Steady connection with Shopware”

Pros

Pickware is built right into Shopware which makes the whole setup very convenient. It's user-friendly, simple to manage and works flawlessly in day-to-day use. I also appreciate that the support is excellent and extremely dedicated to maintaining a good relationship with the customer.

Cons

The pricing structure could be better. There are four different plans and each one includes a different set of features. I'd prefer a single base plan with the essential functions and then the option to add extra features as needed. With the current setup I pay for tools I don't actually use.
